Hey all - Here is the new bootleg from madison square garden 2009 when they did the wild, the innocent and the e street shuffle.

This boot is of soundboard quality.

I will warn you, this rip has skips on wild billy's circus story and incident on 57th street. I'll repost when those are fixed and flac is available. for now, here is the link:

I just went on a downloading tear the other day. I highly suggest the show from Feb. 5th, 1975 at the Main Point, an old and very small venue in the Philadelphia suburbs. The show was broadcast on WMMR so the sound quality is phenomenal. It's just a fantastic show that predates Born To Run and Miami Steve officially joining the band, and was the first ever performance of Thunder Road.

100% recommend this show. God I wish I had been around for the early shows by this band in the 70s. The energy was just electric.

Some of his stuff can be a little cheesy, especially if someone else was doing it. But it's The Boss. He's the best.

I've been a Springsteen fan since I was little. The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle was one of the 1st records I found when I was tall enough to climb up on the record cabinet and open the top up. I remembered thinking at age 4 or so that Bruce Springsteen & The Beatles were the only people that made music

I've only seen him once but it was amazing....I got to see him with Phish at Bonnaroo

I love all his old stuff, especially greetings from asbury park...not a big fan of the 80's stuff though. Born in the USA makes me want to shoot myself

Springsteen letter to the editor Asbury Park Press:

Thank you for your March 27 front-page story by Michael Symons, "As poverty rises, cuts target aid." The article is one of the few that highlights the contradictions between a policy of large tax cuts, on the one hand, and cuts in services to those in the most dire conditions, on the other.

Also, you've shone some light on anti-poverty workers and analysts such as Adele LaTourette, Meara Nigro, Cecilia Zalkind and Raymond Castro, among others, all of whom have something important to add to the discussion: real information and actual facts about what is happening below the poverty line.

These are voices that in our current climate are having a hard time being heard, not just in New Jersey, but nationally. Finally, your article shows that the cuts are eating away at the lower edges of the middle class, not just those already classified as in poverty, and are likely to continue to get worse over the next few years. I'm always glad to see my hometown newspaper covering these issues.

Hey all, Bruce solo is a great event. Lots of rare cuts!

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up:

An IEM mix/matrix is out from The Buffalo show in 2009! Go to Jungleland or dime to grab it.

Here is the Jungleland link, although there are small skips at the end of songs. A cleaner rip should be out within the next few hours.

Hey all, I'm interested in learning more of The Boss's music. I only know a few of his songs, mostly the popular singles. Which albums should I check out? I know Born To Run is one of the obvious answers. Thanks
