Another great episode. I think it'll be a really good series but I'm worried it's going to move to the cliche court drama in a way. The fact that we met the lawyers family means the audience is suppose to have an emotional stake in him. I think it's going to turn into the "bad guy" prosecution vs the "good guy" defense.

The laywer will win the case against all odds and be able to afford the best foot cream on the market

There will be a scene where he is sitting alone in the courtroom after winning, taking it all in

    By all accounts the critics who got advance copies (first 6 episodes I believe) could not stop watching. They all said it was just fantastic start to finish. I actually wonder whether it even makes it into the courtroom before we determine whether he did it or not.

    It certainly seems like its headed that way. Again, a heavy focus on the lawyer (plus they introduced the potential prosecution lawyers in ep 2)

    I wouldnt be surprised if we never officially find out who did it. It could just focus on Nas as the 1 suspect, then whether hes found guilty or not guilty.

    I mean, they didn't go out looking for another suspect after OJ got off, right?

    I thought ep 2 was a bit sleepy. Will still watch, but need some plot movement in ep 3.

    Regarding the inhaler, his prints were already on it anyway, and regardless - its a prescription, so I'm sure it can easily be traced to Nas. I think Box did that to just see if Nas wouldve taken it or denied it. He took it, meaning he's still naive and malleable.

    Anyone else notice the step-dad is Mickey Doyle from Boardwalk Empire?

    Tonight was great, really looking forward to seeing how this pans out now that there's some new players involved. I just wish we got more of the detective on the case, he commands the screen in every scene.

    This. I just don't think it's a great show. It's fine, but nothing amazing.

    And Nas' character is terrible. He can't be this big of an idiot. He just seems WAY too oblivious to things.
