Yeah between the end of his football days and the Rodney King riots, they could have cut out a TON of filler. We didn't need 2.5-3 hours of documentary to tell us that race relations between the LAPD and blacks is fucking awful, especially back in those days.

Maybe it wasn't live, but they definitely aired tons of testimony.

Part 4 just made me angry. Insanely angry. I was only 9-10 when this trial was going on, and I've read things here and there about it since then, but this is the most in-depth look I've ever taken at the trial. Staggers the mind just how well Cochran manipulated the jury and how much the prosecution straight up sabotaged their chances of a conviction time and time again.

finished all 5..i thought it was well done

just confirms, that trial wasn't oj vs. nicole/ron

that trial was black vs. white - nothing else

if you are picked to be on jury, you have to be here for 6-12 months

The OJ doc really picked it up at ep 3. The first 3 hours of the doc were kinda useless

Agreed. They could have cut all that down to less than one episode. So much filler.

Completely disagree. The 1st episode was my favorite. I really didn't know much about his as an NFL player (I am a new NFL fan), so it's cool for me to see that. Plus, I am a USC alum so I love seeing that footage.

I still have 2 more eps. Excited to continue.

Same here, OJ the football player was over years before I was born. The first time I remember even hearing about him was in middle school when he got arrested

This is the only episode I have left. I can't wait to see what you are talking about. I have been curious to find out what happened between his first trial and the Vegas trial.

Just finished. I'm so fucking angry. I guess I can find a little bit of relief that he is in jail now.

It sickens me that the jury found him innocent because it was retaliation for Rodney King. What an ass backwards way of looking at things. Especially because he was the whitest black guy in America.

I think the only thing I wanted to know more about (maybe I missed it) was if there was any past experiences with him being violent before Nicole. What happened in his life to make him that angry of a person?

One theory is he has CTE. I'd be willing to believe that personally.

Saw the first 45-50 minutes of Believeland (updated version) last night and really enjoyed. Will finish it when I get the chance. They paint it to be the most miserable town in America and it definitely appears so.

Cleveland fans are happy the Cavs won and I get that but they won't be truly happy until the Indians or Browns win it all. They're the true spirit of Cleveland imo.

Recently, I watched it yesterday as well. First the original version, than the updated ending. It's very good.

Obviously Cleveland is a football town, but the native son Lebron breaking the drought in the way he did was as good as it gets. Being that I am a Browns and Indians fan (but my basketball team is the Lakers), I am still waiting on those other championships, and still traumatized by the heartaches you are watching.

As a city, just as miserable as a Milwaukee, Detroit or Buffalo

How much of the updated version is new? Is it just the last few minutes? I already saw the original so just wondering how far from the end I can fast forward to see the new stuff.

That 1997 WS might be just as bad as "The Drive" or the Browns. Honestly felt bad about that one. Losing to a brand new team is what stings the most.

Brian and the Boz is a fun watch. Wish I was older so I could've seen him play.

My whole family hails from Cleveland. I was born in Florida and have been a Marlins fan since day 1. That World Series was a war in our house. 19 years later, I really do feel bad for them, especially since the Fish got another WS championship in '03. Indians had that Game 7 in the bag.

I wasn't too impressed by this one. I feel like most of it was surface material, they didn't really dive deep into anything. And with Apatow directing I was disappointed in the lack of dick jokes
