no videographer at ours, though a few people had gopros/handheld video cameras and nearly 3 years later we're still "waiting" on the finished product

my bro-in-law just got married about a month ago. they dropped a couple thousand bucks on a videographer, and while the finished product looks great, the guy was a douche on the day-of. during the wedding "prep" times, ie when we're all getting dressed and what not, he made both bride and groom repeat several scenes just to get the right shot. like when the b&g exchanged gifts, he had the middle man present the gift several times. it loses a lot of luster when you have to pretend like you're opening a gift for the first time.
during the reception, he told the bride she couldnt do a scene with her dad cause of poor lighting. she basically told him to fuck off and that she was going to do it anyways
if you get a videographer, great, but make sure the person is not a Steven Spielberg wannabe
