This is true. Seems like they have 4-5 new shows a year tops. Others are shows I've seen 20 times because they replay them during the week and every year.

But the disembowled whales and that video from the helicopter where pretty crazy. I think there is a massive shark out there and they couldn't get any real evidence of it so they did that scripted bullshit.

how much more can they talk about that hasn't already been covered? its not like the sharks change from year to year. they're still the same way they've been for the last few hundred years, at least. at some point you're going to run out of new ways to say the same thing.

The more I think about it the more I'm pissed that discovery made that seem like a real documentary. Looking on twitter scientists and biologists are ripping it apart for misleading people and even though I could tell at the beginning it was fake I wanted to beleive that it was fake mixed with reality. But it would seem the whole thing was just dramatized

Wtf discovery just film some sharks and show us sharks attacking shit. I'm sure they got great ratings, but they have shredded what little credibility they had left in my book. I'm still gonna watch in hopes there might actually be some factual science programming but I don't want to hear any more about fucking megalodon

I don't really have a problem the mocumentary as deceiving, it's the entertainment factor. I thought it was absolutely ridiculous and people who were fooled in the slightest are just incredibly gullible or don't have a keen eye for how scripted it was.

-the rogue shark in NJ in 1916 (read the book about it, very interesting)
-USS Indianapolis
