Or just pull songs from different shows to make a compilation of UTTAD Live.

I know one thing for sure, I'm not buying from sound stage direct. They advertised the RTT Cd with the vinyl and when I asked them about why I never received my cd they were jerks about it and said they never advertised that.. Even though I had a screenshot to prove it.

Not a huge deal but I don't appreciate poor customer service

Not to mention they cost more than Amazon and it took them a solid week after the release to get it to me whereas Amazon was getting it to you a day or two after the release if not on the date. I'm over SSD for pre-orders.

However, I may use Acoustic Sounds. They FedEx my Pictures of Nectar LP the day it came out and got it to me the next day. Very solid packaging too.

I was very pleased with their shipment of my A Picture of Nectar as well. Good site.

They frustrated me after I ordered because it said it was "back-ordered" every time I checked the order status but when they got them in it was very prompt and informative. No problem ordering from them again.

How did they even dispute your screenshot? I'm interested to hear their rebuttal when you showed them that...assuming you showed it to them.

Who gives a shit about a live trax from 94 or 95. We have plenty of shows from that era; I really hope we get some studio material we've never heard before.

I know and I find it completely flummoxing. I don't know why anyone wouldn't prefer a 20th anniversary package that had studio versions of Get In Line, Granny, etc and Lillywhite's original mixes over a package that had the album on vinyl and a live trax from that era. We have a ton of official releases and SBDs from that era, the last era of DMB that needs another live release anytime soon is 93-95.

I think people are asking that they do both.

As with R2T, a re-issue of the album along with unreleased studio material that would be part of the official release.

And then a companion LT that would be a separate release, but stick with the timeline of the UTTAD release and be a potential bundle with that.

Showing interest in one thing does not mean there is no interest in another. Frankly, there's a lot more to talk about in terms of Live Trax. As for unreleased material, there's a handful of tracks and alternative mixes. With Live Trax, there's a ton of shows to discuss.

i've bought from SSD for awhile now, but i am pretty much done with them.

i've never had a problem with their customer service, but their shipping is SO SLOW. much slower than the anticipated dates that are on the product pages. and, they don't even tell you an estimated ship date when you place an order - you have to ask them for it. so inconvenient.

and, like you said, they are generally more expensive than amazon.

SSD is the only company I have never had a single issue with in regards to how they ship. They ship things the way a vinyl lover would ship it to someone. That's my biggest praise of theirs.

whats wrong with a complete package?

    UTTAD
    unreleased studio ideas
live trax 32 from a show that happened around the time of the release

IMO the most useless thing in this bundle for me is UTTAD. i already have it on CD. i don't care for vinyl much.

I think the more complete package would have been what I proposed back in 2009 for studio reissues in this poll - http://antsmarching.org/forum/showthread.php?t=270359

I would buy both the CD+BD and vinyl options.

Blu-ray+CD Deluxe Edition reissues of each album featuring:
*Entire album remastered from the original master tapes presented in high resolution 24/96 2.0 stereo PCM
*Entire album remixed from the original analogue multitrack tapes by Bob Clearmountain presented in high resolution 24/96 5.1 PCM and 24/96 5.1 dts-HD Master Audio
*Each album's videos presented in high definition with newly remastered audio in high resolution 24/96 5.1 multi-channel and 24/96 2.0 stereo PCM.
*Interviews from the relevant period in 1080p where elements allow, 480i otherwise
*Live performances from the relevant period in 1080p where elements allow, 480i otherwise
*B-sides and live cuts from the singles presented in high resolution 24/96 2.0 stereo PCM
*New interviews about the album, time period, songs, etc. in 1080p high definition
*CD "digital copy" of the newly remastered stereo tracks

Deluxe 180g 2LP vinyl reissues featuring:
*Entire album remastered from the original master tapes presented over 4 sides of virgin 180g vinyl pressed at [Pallas, Optimal, RTI, etc]

I just don't see it as economically worth their time for the BD

If there was actually something, I'd expect them to say nothing.

Then again, Bill Belichick may run MusicToday and it could just be misdirection.

What's the deal with Amazon listing UTTAD as a CD being released in November for $9.98?

    http://www.amazon.com/Under-Table-Dr...e+and+dreaming

Any chance it's supposed to be for the vinyl and they have the wrong price or are they really re-releasing the CD?

I'm sure they're re-releasing the CD with the vinyl, same as Remember Two Things. $10 seems right for a CD.

I didn't realize they re-released the RTT CD when they released the vinyl. What is the point of that? Was the CD out of print?
