Holy hell, i just found out about this about 30 min ago. Worked at the venue in production for two years, before I moved up to TN last year. It's a tiny venue, about 10,000, and is really nice. Can't freaking wait. Oh, and this is the first show since 2009, that I'm not gonna have to get a hotel for.

Are there any "bad" seats in the venue? Just curious since you worked there.

Not really. The first two tiers are great, and the third, which basically took the lawns place years ago, is still good. The usual lawn crowd will probably be in the third tier, so I would stay in the first two.

Just booked the Best Western for 91.19 inc tax. maybe a 1/2 mile walk to the amph. In 2009, sat on the lawn outside hotel and listened to the soundcheck.

Don't know how they will do it. It's all seats though. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tiers. So if that's the case do the seats eliminate the aspect of getting there as early as possibly since it would all be assigned seating?

If they only do assigned seats then there is no reason to get there early as far as I'm concerned

I was there a few years ago for Widespread Panic and it will all be assigned seating if it holds up the same. I'm not sure there is even room for a pit. On a side note, the tailgating is AWESOME at Oak Mountain so THERE is your reason to go early.

Can anyone shed light on the ticketing request options for warehouse from 09? I didn't get tickets through warehouse back then. (i.e will you pick from the different tiers?)

You'll put in a request for tickets, if you don't get your request you are automatically assigned to the next level. There are no refunds or exchanges, so even if you don't get what you want you're stuck with the tickets. The check box will probably not return that says "only select me for the level I want", as they took it away in the winter tour and other members who have emailed are saying it's probably not coming back this year. So it's basically a crapshoot.
