i really like that their cd's flow really well. sam's town more so than hot fuss but they are definitely cd's you can just put in and listen to straight through.

    Sam's Town FINALLY clicked for me on friday. Made my weekend. It really is a fantastic album. Its like this decade's Pinkerton. Nobody was ready for Pinkerton after the hit machine that was the Blue Album, but after a little while it started dawning on people that it was as good as, if not better than, the debut.

    NOW I'm looking forward to the next one.

    It just never worked for me till this weekend. Someone on this board once said to listen to it 3 times in a row and it'd work...and that was last year. It almost worked, but I just never wanted to go back to the album. But friday night I was just driving home, blasting that album as loud as my little Tercel would allow.

    I never really got into Sam's Town besides a couple of songs. Hopefully this album will go back to the Hot Fuss sound

    Its official!!!!

    The band's fourth album, Day & Age will be released November 25, 2008 (November 24th in the UK). The album's first single, "Human," will debut worldwide on September 22nd, and the digitial single will be released September 30th.

    Hell yes. Caught the Killers live in TX in April of 2007 and they were pretty kickass. Great energy live. I loved Sam's Town & Hot Fuss (Sawdust meh) so I'm excited.

    Listening to Human right now, so far not bad.

    I wouldn't expect it to be. I like it though. Brandon's voice carries the song, but I agree that the tempo is a little droll.

    what the hell is with this single.

    it effing blows. not that the killers weren't already a commercial band...but at least the music was decent. this is just crap! totally bummed. i really like them but this is a major step backwards.

    I've listened to it a lot this week and I still like it. If the rest of the album was similar to this though, it would not be up to par with Hot Fuss or Sam's Town. I don't expect all of the songs to be like this. It's the first single so they went with the most marketable song.
