Then again to turn the volume and screen brightness down at a certain point late at night, and then back to full volume in the morning. It can do lots more as far as wifi, bluetooth, etc

Can't you do all of this with Smart Actions?

Sure, looks like just another app of the same kind, just like there are multiple apps for keeping notes/lists, browsers, internet radios, etc

But, average user rating of Timeriffic is 4.6 to Smart Actions' 4.1

What does everyone use for a weather app? Preferably free.

I have WeatherBug right now, but am kind of sick of it/getting unhappy with it.

used to use weatherbug but it's just not very good. started using the weather channel app and it's been very useful and reliable.

google/android fanboy here...but i don't really care enough to be called a fanboy. anyone else preorder the nexus 7 tablet? i have the 16gb model on the way...pumped!

google play music is the best thing ever. i have 12,000 songs automatically updated on all of my devices (htc one, netbook, nexus 7) and i don't even have to do anything besides download the music. the rest takes care of itself. i just can't believe how awesome it is.

It's a company phone, so I don't pay for anything. I also manage the company's mobile devices so I usually just get myself whatever the best phone at the time is and hand my old one off to whoever wants it.

I had the Rezound for a good while. Awesome phone. Probably the best Android phone I've owned. I liked the original Incredible a lot too.

Yeah that kind of came off a bit pompous, didn't it.

I don't change phones a lot. Just when something cool enough comes out that I need.

Thinking back, I think since I started it's been something like this:

    Blackberry Curve
    Blackberry Bold
    Droid
    HTC Incredible
    HTC Droid Thunderbolt
    HTC Rezound
    Samsung Galaxy SIII

my biggest gripe about Android is the updates. the only reason i enjoy Apple. they actually support their products.

I think I tried Weather Channel and didn't like it, but can't remember why. Really I just go by the home screen HTC widget, which is pretty basic but does the job.

Then I keep a small weatherbug widget on a different screen when I want the details. Love the satellite/radar feature. No real complaints with it. What don't you like about it?

Same here. I also hate the Verizon backup shit and remembering your GPS preferences and all that. One wrong check box and your phone downloads all of this BS Verizon bloatware.

The new Galaxy came with "S Voice", it's direct competition. so far... not so great. You're supposed to say "Hi Galaxy" to get started. I say "Hi Galaxy" and it replies "I'm sorry. I do not know what "Galaxy" means"

The iPhone is more popular therefore it is better.

Never understood that. Android devices, especially the high end, top on the line ones, are miles ahead of the iPhone.

Ha it's funny to post this right after my last comment in this thread, but I may have to get an Iphone. The same exact problem is happening with my nexus again..I don't have to time to keep getting a new phone and set up all my shit. This is very frustrating.
