    He was actually talking to a few NBA teams and could have gotten an offer, but it wouldn't be what he's going to make in China. He'll get the "superstar" money over there, which is a bit more than the role-player money he would have gotten here. Jordan Crawford just signed with that same team a few days ago for the same reason. He would have only gotten the veteran minimum in the NBA.
