Same deal. I'm debating if I want to give up the Gaslight Anthem tickets or not. Either way I have to put in a time off for work in the busiest time of the year, and if I'm doing that I ain't doing it for Gaslight Anthem.

Hmmm, I'm wondering which venue I should go to. Probably gonna end up doing both nights at izod just because its closer to me and I will hear more songs but I do want to check out Barklays at some point.

This. I plan on hitting N2 here and then Barclays. With N2 being a Saturday, would be easier to get to, then trying to fight the commute crush from NYC over to NJ.

my buddy and his fiance are flying up to stay with me for the shows.

i live in weehawken, so were talking 10 minutes by car. cant beat that.

gonna be awesome, went to the summer tour openers in texas, and now winter tour openers in NJ!

btw, if anyone hasnt read back (a whopping 3 pages):

to get there, take the train from penn station to secaucus junction. they will have several event busses that you get on that take you right up to the venue.

kinda a bum rush after the show to take them back, but its better than a 65+ dollar cab back to the city.

gotta be honest, i thought gaslight anthem in 2012 was better than DMB in 2012. reason why i'm probably gonna stick with my terminal 5 ticket.

if you are choosing one or the other, it's a no brainer to do barclays. IZOD is a pretty bad venue IMO

09 izod i remember as being pretty rough on the ears..but that wont keep me away this year for 2 shows. the eternal optimist in me keeps saying the acoustics are better now....lol

We read about a direct bus for events at Izod, from NYC Port Authority Bldg in Manhattan to the arena in NJ, and back for $5 each way. 20 minute ride.
Doesn't this sound easiest? Is there something I am not realizing (heavy traffic??)

Just wondering, how is the parking situation at Izod? The last time I was there was when it was Continental Airlines Arena I live about 40 minutes away in NJ which makes this the best thing to happen to me in a while! Thanks for the help!

really easy. as long as you stay out of the stacked parking garages. theres a ton of space at the meadowlands

It's the easiest venue. When you leave there are signs clearly telling you where to go. Because the shows are on a Friday and Saturday, I am not going to rush out of there.
