    You will not be disappointed.

I think 5/8/77 should be required listening for everyone who enjoys music. It's actually incredible how good they were live in that month and especially that show. I've heard few, if any bands, touch that peak musically. The Scarlet Begonias and Not Fade Away from this night are in my, and probably top, jams I've ever heard from the dead. New Minglewood, Brown Eyed Women, Lazy Lightning, St. Stephen are also incredible.

If you enjoy it (which you will) listen to the nights before and after. 5/7 and 5/9 - both are on the Archive. The Help -> Slipknot -> Franklin's on the 9th is AMAZING.

I fucking LOVE the Mama Tried from Barton Hall. It's so tight. Short little tune but it packs a punch.

I could listen to an entire album of different versions of "Know You Rider" for days on end. I'd give an arm to go back in time to see the band. I wasn't even 5 years old when Jerry died

Reading Lesh's book "Searching For The Sound". About 2/3 of the way through, very fun read so far. Amazing the details that he can remember things with, especially given the lifestyle on the road.

I've been reading "A Long Strange Trip" too. About halfway through. It also has some crazy intricate details about the early days sandwhiched between every other sentence of "everyone took lots of LSD that night"
