i never heard them say chapelle was hosting, all the commercials had him saying hes not hosting.

I heard he was, and that's the ONLY reason why I wanted to watch it. I wanted to see him rip on people all night. They don't even have a host this year because they knew it'd suck so bad. They NEEDED Dave to host this thing.

i kinda liked the nelly christina performance, she can sing and has more tallent than jessica AND britney put together, Alicia has been the highlight of the show, other than this thing is just ridiculous, then again it is mtv

I like Ashlee Simpson.....no matter how horrible the preshow performance was....I like her songs. Probably the only artist at the awards I listen to. Ryan Cabrera is also growing on me.

So the show is actually THAT bad? FYI its only the preshow here in Cali...grr I should be at DMB but I couldnt afford the second show.

Yeah, the song is catchy as hell, but overplayed. I mean it's a year old, and obviously Andre is sick of it. We were fucking psyched when he started playing the Prototype, and then he only did the very beginning. Damned MTV demographic.

Which is unfortunate, because it turns out that Dwight finding drugs is more dangerous than most people using drugs.
