Been waiting forever to get a trailer, but with release still 6+ months away, no bueno. Anyway, Linklater has called it the spiritual sequel to "Dazed And Confused", still his best movie. Very excited for it - that's what I am talking about.

Boyhood was God awful. Easily the biggest waste of two hours I spent this year (and I wasted A LOT of time this year).

My thoughts:
• Movie very good, but still fell short of my high expectations
• Too many college baseball players look like they were 30
• Should have kept the title “That’s What I Am Talking About”
• Definitely not as funny or as good as Dazed, even less of a plot, but still some great characters & moments
• Linklater should just make period pieces, he is so good at capturing an era

The last bullet is the most important one.

I really liked it, but obviously not even close to Dazed.

Looking forward to seeing this. I'll try to keep expectations low but I'm a huge D&C fan

Haven't seen it yet, but keep in mind that (for me at least) 'Dazed' was the kind of movie that you had to watch over and over and kept getting better each time. The first time I saw D&C in the 90's I was like "Meh, it was decent but don't get all the hype.' Now, it's probably in my top 10 favorite movies ever. Hoping EWS is a grower like that.

Boyhood was incredible. that movie means a lot to me. Can't wait to see this.
