I would love to see them offer both 33rpm and 45rpm versions of UTTAD, 2LP and 4LP sets. Someone who just wants vinyl, go ahead and pick up the 2LP. Someone keen on getting higher fidelity could slurge on the 4LP 45rpm set.

Metallica did this with their entire catalogue on vinyl, I think it's a really cool idea.

As long as the mastering and pressing are done properly I'd take the 33rpm versions without hesitation, but would drool over deluxe 45rpm editions.

That would be really nice, the recent LT pressings show that someone in management is wising up to the quality of pressing they give us, so I'm hoping that holds true for all future pressings.

Chad don't know if this matters for the list but I was able to finally get a copy of LT 1 so I'm complete with the 3 now but my LT1 is just the black LP release

Metallica has done an excellent job with all of their vinyl releases/reissues. The 45 rpm boxes, all on limited color or less limited black, are dynamite. Would love to see DMB get on board with that type of approach to vinyl.

hey-- did anyone buy the Live Trax 2 on vinyl? Do you have an album with the Jimi Thing label on both sides? Just curious if it was widespread screw up

Well at least there will be less of a problem getting this year's RSD release (singular) compared to LT2/3 and especially compared to LT1.
If you find it costly keep in mind that the colored vinyl is always going to come with a premium, wait for the black and save $20.

They seem to be pressing more and understanding the demand, which is driving down the secondary market. I'm thinking the next RSD release will be even easier to get than this last one. Flippers aren't able to sell the ones they have, they're still flooding eBay and not going for near what LT1 did.

I would kill to get Listener Supported on vinyl. The show is still one of my favorite live releases. Best #41!!!!! It holds a special place in my heart because it was the first live release I bought from them and was pretty much the catalyst for me becoming a huge fan.

Easier to find or why does colored come with a premium? Easier to find because it will be substantially less limited, and costly likely due to more labor cleaning out the presses properly before and after a colored run.

they should repress LT1 #501 to #1000 on blue again and keep with the 1000 count for each release.

Same here, haven't seen any DMB on the leaked lists I've seen, but lots of other cool releases! It's going to be a good RSD this year.

I saw a few early lists from a local record store, a few things not listed yet on Wax Poetic, but I assure you, definitely some more exciting releases to come on RSD2014.

From what's been made public so far, I'm really excited about the Motorhead reissue.

I didn't see a whole lot that got me crazy excited. The Neil Young thing looked cool, but I'm not sure I want it bad enough $70+.
