My opinion lines up with Vegeevore's, but I also credit most of that to being far less interested in the band in general at this point on my part.

Edit: Also, at 70+ live albums, it has to be pretty damned special to stand out of the pack and I think this one is forgettable aside from a few tracks. The Recently is great, as is the Warehouse and Crush is never a bad choice.

I get that we all love Granny on a release, but this Granny is such a messy Granny. It is in no way a tight version that could be listened to over and over again.

Wow. Just got around to listening to some of the 24 bit FLAC. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. I didn't such a dramatic difference in individual instrument clarity....but it is substantial. To me a least. Need more 24 bit DMB.

He did the mix on the last warehouse disc and it was perfect imo

No problem. It was my Youtube rip as well. Usually with that stuff Youtube just blocks it in certain countries and the owner of the content reserves the right to use it however they want, display ads etc. But if they ever contacted me to take anything down, I obviously would. Haven't on any of my uploads yet.

I have the 16 bit FLAC version, because my portable player only supports that.
In what way are you listening to those 24 bit files? Device / Headphone etc?

It does sound great now. Really wish all the aftw sounds had evolved this well. Rooftop is a beast as well. Interested to see how drunken soldier sounds on the new warehouse disc.

I just bought the 24-bit FLAC. Will there be any drop in quality if I convert to Apple Lossless in order to play on my iphone? I'm
New to this format so I appreciate any help.

I'm not a 24-bit FLAC user, but to my understanding, you first need an audio playback setup capable of appreciating the dynamics that 24-bit offers (very good headphones/speakers, etc). It's like putting a Blu-ray on an old tube television set from '90s. You can watch the movie, but you're not going to get what you paid for with Blu-ray technology.

That said, if you've got the setup for 24-bit, I would try converting the FLAC files to WAV files, then drop the WAVs into iTunes and convert them to Apple Lossless in there. I can't promise that's a perfect system, but it's worth a try.

I remember years ago when Chris Kress was the most hated guy around these forums for his work on the Live Trax series. Hindsight is always 20/20...

I must admit, I'm really liking LT29. I think Camden N2 was definitely a better show all around, but Blossom is proving to have some very good performances of some fresh material. Love that Gaucho (never thought I'd say that!), Rooftop, BBN, as well as less played older songs like Captain, Save Me, and Oh. Crush on this release is fantastic, too.

You won't be able to play 24 bit AppleLossless on your iPhone at all.

Your best bet is to buy Flac Player from the App Store, and transfer the FLAC files over to it.

Unless you had some other means of listening to 24 bit FLAC that had nothing to do with your desire to convert to mp3

You're gonna need some 3rd party conversion tool to first convert the 24 bit files to 16 bit.

But again...why destroy the wonderful 24 bit audio

I am only converting to get them on my iPhone...I have plenty of reasons to have the 24 bit files haha trust me I didn't just do it for the hell of it...I tried using All2MP3 last week but to no avail...I will try to WAV then apple lossless...the FLAC files sound tremendous btw

They really do. I didn't get them right away and instead had 16 bit FLAC to listen to...which I thought was OK...

Then I heard the 24 bit FLAC, and the 16 bit sounds terrible by comparison.
