Isn't this still the first season of this show? How is the season 1 dvd coming out already? Does anyone know how many episodes it will contain?

It isn't technically season 1. The dvd has 9 episodes. It's a mass marketing ploy. It's all to make money. .... which I dont have

So it's the 9 episodes from the Fall pretty much?

Yeah, the shows are good the first and only time around. Who needs to watch them over and over again on DVD? I don't think it's one of those kinds of shows where the Season DVDs would be worth spending money on.

Best Buy has it the cheapest for $16.99. Not released until tomorrow though. I would rent it just to catch up on the series. I don't think I would buy it yet.

I expect that has alot to do with this episode being a continuation of the one after the super bowl. I wouldn't be surprised to see it stay on top though.

Yea that was the reason it gave as to why it had more viewers. The Olympics beat Housewives in the 9pm hour.

I think you guys are a little confused here. The first season was just that. The first season. We are on season two now. Season one aired from March 27, 05 - May 22, 05. Season two began Sept 25, 05. Season one was just a mid season filler and they only ran the 9 episodes to test it out. Once they realized how well it took off they called for a full season for season two. That's becomming more and more common.

The first 4 episodes of season 2 were actually apart of season 1, they held them over since they ran out of time in the season to air them. There should actually be 26 episodes of Grey's this season because of that. The episode where Addison decides to stay was going to be the season finale...which in the end really wasn't as good as the one where we find out McDreamy is married.

Really?? This is the first I've heard of that. Where did you hear/read this? Damn I hate thinking I know what I'm talking about and being proven wrong. (trust that it doesn't happen too often either)

Yeah, I'm kinda ticked that there are only 9 episodes on the DVD but if it's only 17 bucks at Best Buy... I still haven't seen the first 4 or 5. I just bought The Office Season 1 and then realized, fuck. There are only like 6 episodes here. Then I was angry.

But I thought last night's episode was great. I LOVED that they didn't kiss at the end. And their exchange was one of their best scenes. And the fact that he could describe every detail of this moment she couldn't remember - that's more romantic than a kiss.

And the girls in the shower with Meredith was a really cool scene.

And completely unrealistic. Men don't remember the last meal they ate. There is no way they'd actually remember all that.

There's no way I would remember all that shit either! But sometimes they remember things that you don't think they would. Like, um, uhhhhh. The color of their favorite bra or thong or something. Or... Yep, I think that pretty much covers it.

But if their relationship was realistic, we'd all fall asleep 10 minutes in.

My favorite part of this episode was when shepard started saying 'Where is she?!?!?! Where is she?!?!' and the Cheif of sugery was like shes right here and his wife comes around the corner. Then the cheifs wife says 'That was not the she he was talking about.'

    that was priceless.
