I think that it's illegal to send them down. Weird import/export rules. We tried to send our Canadian friends cookies at Xmas time, but couldn't because you can't send anything to Canada with American butter in it.

Maybe we need some ketchup chips in the pit!

Wow - I just got the "F" job from the Warehouse...... Confirmed both years and the first year I had front row, last year I had 4th row and I get "Reserved 1"..... I joined in Dec 98 and Jan 99 and this is what I get..... Pretty awesome the money I spent getting there from Denver as well. I am more then a little surprised with these tickets.

That's not fun. Reserved one is the second best...but GA pit would be closer to row 1 or 4.

That totally sucks. Have you tried calling the Warehouse? Completely unfair. I don't know that they will help you (ie the bs run around we got the last two years), but it may be worth a shot.

Pit was done by lottery. Seniority has nothing to do with it.

For most shows this was true, however, WH members that had tickets to last years show were assured that they would be given priority over other requests. We were told that last fall when the second show in a row was canceled. I think that is where his frustration comes in to play.

I'm beginning to believe that the "priority" was for confirmations only. Otherwise we would see differn't results. Although it does suck for a lot of people, they never promised as good or better seats.

Yeah, it is total BS.... You know the WH has given me some great tickets over the years so it is hard to complain. Problem I have with this is I have spent a good amount of money getting out to Utah from Colorado not to have any shows. You know the good thing is I have been able to get into some good bands as of late with DMB skipping Colorado the last few years.

Yep this is exactly how it worked. The smart thing would have been to request GA pit only if you had tickets last year. I believe you would have been confirmed.

I am in the same boat. I have spent a TON of money for two shows that never happened. I told myself I was not going to Utah this year, but......I can't help myself. It's almost like I need to see the show just becuase of all the effort I have put in to go to Utah the last couple of years.

My friend from San Fran has said that it has become a mission. He was at the airport when I called him last year to let him know the show was off.

It is a mission, I can't stop until the mission is complete. They could come out and sing can't stop 18 times and I would probably still be satisfied becuase I finally made the show.

Yes, but if you put in for GA Pit you still could have gotten reserved 1 or 2. It wasn't a sure thing to get pit. But, you wouldn't have gotten lawn.

I didn't have tix last year so I put in for best available because I didn't care if I got lawn for a free show. I figured I would either go or try to upgrade at some point. I pulled Pav. 1 so I'm quite happy. I've been a member a while so I should have decent placement since it's Utah.

WH did exactly what they said they would with confirmations. But, let it be known that I think many people did get screwed and yes, it was a bit unfair for many fans.

I don't know. I heard all of the 100s but I don't know.

You could call the venue and then let us know.

According to the seating chart it appears that the 100 sections will be the GA pit. How many will they allow in is anyone's guess. I would think that the Fire Marshal has limits as to how many people can be in the space. Sections 101/102/103 have approx 934 seats.

However, it is a Tuesday night so if you line up relatively early I think it will be somewhat easy to get a close spot. And it is SLC so it's not like there is a ton of tailgating and you wont' be missing anything by getting in line early. In fact the venue is in the middle of a residential area. Or you could always find someone that has reserved 2 to trade with it you are concerned with your view of the show.
