Mike Patton, Mr. Bungle, FNM, Fantômas, & Tomahawk fans.

I'm new to these boards & wondering if there is an fans of Mike Patton. I was a huge FNM & Bungle fan. Now they seem to be dead as bands. Also any fans of Lovage & his work with Rahzel.

Mike Patton is one of the most talented singers of the past 20 years. I think Fantomas is just noise, but Faith No More is one of my favorites. Tomahawk is #2, then Mr Bungle. Most of his other stuff is almost unlistenable, unfortunately. General Patton vs. the Executioners is one of the worst CDs I've ever bought.

Patton is also a huge whore I think he's guested on a track for every band since 1998.

I saw Faith No More at The Warehouse in Toronto in 1995, supporting their 4th album, they were fantastic.
Personally I only liked their first three albums, all of which were amazing. I don't include the album before Introduce Yourself as one of their albums, Introduce Yourself was their first album in my eyes.
The CD maxi single for A Small Victory is a great pick-up if you can find it, excellent mix of the title track by Youth (who has done numerous mixes and played for various acts such as Pop Will Eat Itself and Killing Joke.)

I don't count anything without Mike Patton as Faith No More. I think Album of the Year is probably my favorite, or at least most listened to, of theirs. I'd have to list my top 3 as...

1. Mouth to Mouth
2. Zombie Eaters
3. Naked in Front of the Computer

Jizzlobber is a close #4. If you guys haven't heard Mushroomhead, they sound ridiculously like FNM on Jizzlobber. Oh, I also can't get enough of Easy and Hippie Jam Song.

I saw FNM at St. Andrews in Detroit way back in...'96 I think? God that was such a good show. I miss them. I saw Tomahawk open for Tool a few years ago...didn't really dig that too much though. Or Bungle...I liked Patton the most when he was with FNM.

I only saw FNM once, back in 1990ish opening for Billy Idol but they were really fantastic. Excellent, fun live show.

I'm extremely jealous of all of you who have seen Faith No More. Tomahawk and Tool sounds like an awesome show, too. Mike Patton is one of my favorite singers of all-time, and I agree that he was best with FNM.
