I feel kinda stupid even asking this question but... the original audio of him telling the plane studio, on his own podcast (whereas I first heard what I'd eventually learn was a streamlined version, what he told on Rogan), but that when he references the flight attendant, he suddenly goes "the... LAAAAADDYYYY!" even sort of pulling away from the mic as he does it. I'm guessing that's just like a classic Jerry Lewis sort of reference? (particularly how it does it a couple more times and in sort of similar fashion)
And I can't claim this idea, I saw someone else bring it up, but I wholly agree, how awesome as fuck it would be to see Bill on Louie. I mean he's had a ton of different other comics on there over the years. Maybe even try to find a way to dramatize the plane incident into a whole episode, or at least the catalyst for one.
