thru episode 6, and two things confused me a bit. Why/how was there an Obama reference? The current President in the MCU is Matthew Ellis (played by William Sadler), far as I know Obama doesn't even exist.
and seeming as how it played a major part in the advancement of the plot, I can't figure out how in the hell Cottonmouth and his men knew Luke's getaway van with the cop was, well, a van in the first place, and that it was green. So it made them MUCH easier to find. The van came from Claire's mother, that connection Cottonmouth couldn't possibly know anything about. Plus the van was gone from the rear of the barbershop by the time any other dirty cop showed up. How did they know they were in that?? I mean I picked this up right away in the moment, seems a bit of a plot hole to me.
oh and, mind you I don't at all say this as a criticism, just more I find it humorous. just that how I feel like I'd heard about Luke Cage being this series telling purely and entirely a "black world story", if you will, which I can totally understand, that makes sense. It just then cracks me up to think how the first 2 episodes of the series were directed by a white Irishman
