I was also at both and I would have to say N2 2016 takes the cake. Pig-Last Stop-#41 to start the show just can't be touched, it was so amazing, plus the encore set this year was also amazing

I've been at both nights at SPAC since '09 and a couple dozen other shows. N2 this year was the best show I've seen from the band or any band hands down.

    Re: SPAC N2 2015 vs. SPAC N2 2016

Was at both, I think 2016 is the better show, but it is very close. Both were fantastic.

Highlights for me last year: #40, OSW, Friend of the Devil, that Grace is Gone is one of the best versions I've ever heard...Bela Fleck being there really lifts the show up. Minerats, Cry Freedom, 41 and LIOG w Bela. BOWA, and a tremendous Halloween during a rare double encore.

Highlights this year: Pig is one of my favorite songs and with how rare it is to actually see the song performed that was awesome to open with. Last Stop completed BTCS for me. Been praying for a performance of it at SPAC for years. Was blown away with that opening. Proudest Monkey is one of my favorite songs as well, sounded real good. WWYS and Nancies were both good as well. One of the best versions of R&R I've heard, and Say Goobye was awesome right after it. That Watchtower was fantastic. Two Step into Halloween was epic.

Both years provided a bit different atmosphere not only with set list but stage presence. 2015 you had the ladies, Bela, Dave solo for a few songs, the two sets format. This year the band got on the stage was feeling it and just hit the gas. Also think last year had a few more set list killers than this year. Either way good for SPAC.

Am I the only one who thinks SPAC n1 from 2010 was the best show (outside 2016)? So underrated.

This version of Rhyme & Reason (with the joe lawlor intro) is the best version of the song I have ever heard. Dude adds a completely different sound to DMB and I love it.

Also I was at alpine both nights and as much fun as I had, I left underwhelmed. If I was at SPAC I would not have left underwhelmed. Both nights, especially night 2, sound awesome and Im sure were insane to witness live.

I've been to SPAC 2008, 2009, 2010, 2016 and thought '10 was the only one that was weak

Was at both.. It's freakin close. That ending set run for n2 2015 is seriously about as good as it gets. I'll take those 4 songs over the first 4 from the opening run of n2 2016 to be honest. Still think overall I give the slight edge to n2 this year tho.

I will say I enjoyed spac n1 more than n2 this year.

All I know is, SPAC 2016 n2 is the single best concert I've ever been to by Dave or any other artist, came hot out of that gate and never gave up got to hear my top 3 in the same show so I'm a bit biased but my god what a night

Guys, both nights, both weekends were simply amazing because Brenny made signs and Dave played exactly what he wanted him to!

I mean this in a good way. 2015 was a good kick in the caboose, causing some slight shard factor. But 2016 was a hard/swift kick right in the marbles, causing frequent squirts, leaving me with sticky cankles and sandals. 2016 wins with the mess.

SPAC 2016 needs to be a big time release over xmas. These shows deserve its own release separate of the live trax. It should be a box set of both nights with blu ray dvds of both nights. Its time dmb management does it right and showcases two of the best nights this band has had in a long time at one of the best venues to see dmb.

Considering the current LT, is from there I don't think it's gonna happen. I'm thinking it gonna be WPB or the Gorge

I don't see a release of this show happening anytime soon. But down the road a few years as a LT sounds more like it. As long as Copperpot works his magic on a n2 complete, I'd be happy and content.
