Next Warehouse CD

Needs to include a song with Leroi playing somewhere over the rainbow, such as:

Lover Lay Down - 10/29/98 or 12/1/98

Or just release 12/1/98 as the next live trax. That way we guarantee the next LT will be good and we will get this song again.

I was saying last night in another thread (I can't find it now, there are too many created lately) but we should try to get some kind of Roi tribute cd going. It could be the next WH 5/8 cd, a bonus disc for the next official release, or the end of the summer release.

I was thinking it could be a bonus disc to go along with Roi's last show.

well we should try to get something going and maybe have suggestions for what songs and the dates of those songs we want to be on the disc. I haven't listened to nearly enough tapes to try to come up with some, but I know others have

A tribute compilation would be nice...I'd also like to have the soundboard version of his last show...

the tribute cd some of you guys were thinking about was (where i saw it suggested) as someone called it "Live Sax: A Tribute to LeRoi" and it would be a dual disk release live every other Live Trax show is and it would be filled with the songs he had a major role in. songs like #41, Typical Situation, Bartender, etc. i think this is a great idea and should be done.

Just take out Jimi Thing and put in Broken Things and I am 100% on board. Even with jimi on there though that would still be a cool release

I'm not knowledgeable enough to list Roi's best unreleased performances, but I would love some kind of tribute disc to Roi. Maybe a best of that includes previously released performances mixed with unreleased songs, all highlighting Roi's magic on the sax.

According to davespeak on 8/20/2008, yes.

Off topic, that is also a great show. Band collected themselves and really put on a killer show for their friend. My favorite Gravedigger too, a touching and honest recollection of Roi by Dave before they start the song.

I'm already looking forward to 2015. Hopefully next year people will be able to get these on time instead of the issues that have happened this year.

Some tracks that would be good to see eventually appear on a WH disc:

    Bartender 4/7/02
    Shotgun 6/10/06
    #41 w/ John Mayer 10/2/07
    Watchtower w/ Warren Haynes 12/3/98
    Two Step - 12/7/98
Lie In Our Graves - 5/19/01
    Shotgun - 9/23/06
    Two Step - 6/27/08
    Fool To Think - 6/23/12
    #34 - 9/1/13

Would love to see a 2013 Everybody Wake Up and a 2013 Broken Things released. Also would be a good opportunity to release some 2014 acoustic tracks.

These are the songs that have been released on a WH disc (marked out) and what hasn't been released:

If I had to guess I would bet there's a few tracks from the acoustic sets on the WH disc next year.

I would put money on Stolen Away appearing on the next disc.

Anything posted thus far would top the recent Warehouse CD IMO. Love that GGT but rarely does anything else from that get played.
