VIP Ticket Information

I noticed people have sold other individuals their VIP tickets. I also read that you have to present photo ID in order to get the merchandise that goes along with the VIP tickets. I thought I heard someone say you could contact warehouse to have a name changed to another warehouse member if you can show they weren't sold for over face value, but warehouse says NO NAME CHANGES, so just wondering what the real truth is here. If someone buys VIP tickets from someone else are they just buying the seats or is there a way to get the Merch as well? Thanks in advance for your responses.

I bought VIP tickets from someone last tour. He contacted the WH and let them know of the name change. When we went to pick up the goods - they had our name instead of his. But it was done way in advance, and he sent us confirmation from the WH that it was taken care of. I don't know if things have changed for this tour, but that's how it went down for us.

I did the same thing last summer, except we didn't take care of anything in advance. He just gave us the tickets and we went to the show, tried to get the merch afterward and we needed a photo id. When we didn't have it they told us they'd have to ship it to us (for a fee). Not a big issue, but it sucked not to get the posters and such right away.

Better question is after the name was changed was the original ticket holders name on the lanyard or was yours?

I have quiet a few that don't have my name on them. :/

Is the merch generally picked up before or after the show?

Your choice, pick it up after so you don't lose it during the show

I assume there is not an issue of them not having any left if you wait until after the show, since your merchandise should be reserved for you, and not given away to others?

Do they have a time limit on how long after the show you will be able to pick up?

Think it is 15 to 30 minutes after the show.
Should be in email warehouse sends to original customer.
At least it was for me two years back.

I called the WH this morning and they said if you email them they will honor the name change on the merch pickup. I emailed the WH, but am hoping I get some sort of confirmation from them. Has anyone had any luck with this? I will try calling again Wed if I don't get a response, but I was on hold for 35 mins just to speak to someone so I'm hoping they respond to my email....

Hey Cheryl - I did this last year at the Gorge - the WH changed the name on the merch (to us). Worked perfectly. They also sent a confirmation to the original buyer who then forwarded it to me.

It was a few months in advance, actually. So I'd keep on top of them to make sure...are you selling or buying?

2 camelbaks and 2 of that night's regular poster, 1 premium parking pass, 2 lanyards with the member's name on it.
