it's hard to get to the lots when youre comin from philly via transit/boat

austin and i were so late last year we had to take a cab from the hotel on N1

well we should set something up, maybe on the philly side if thats where most are staying?

Gonna hit Camden this summer for the first time. Hotel advice? Basically all I know is stay in Philly, and get the hell out of Camden ASAP after the show. Right?

Check out Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia E - Penns Landing at 100 North Christopher Columbus Blvd. I got a decent rate there... and you can take the ferry from right around there.

What's the touristy area of town? Near city hall or in the old town/down by the river area? Just looking at hotels and want to be able to walk to bars, places of interest, etc.

near city hall/liberty bell/independence hall is the touristy areas. those hotels are also the most expensive.

we stayed at the sheraton university center last year and it was really nice, on the west side near Upenn

Had a GREAT time in Camden last year. Ran into some fellow ants sitting in our row that we poster-tube guitar jammed out with during the insane stretch on the N2 encore LIOG Reprise -> Pig -> Two Step run at the end.

For those considering Camden for the first time you should know the venue is fantastic with easy access to merch, bathrooms, etc, down in the reserved sections. The rumors are true... as soon as the show ends get the hell out of Camden unless you are looking for a crack dealer or ZJ hookup. We stayed in Philly and had a great time wandering around their city.

no one let austin take the train back by himself. I almost lost him last year after N1.

I highly recommend everyone taking the ferry to the venue. so fun. you cant drink booze on it, but instead of just taking it from us, he let me chug it instead. #coolcrew
