maroon5 just announced a 'private' concert in NYC on Jan 31, that probably has to do with this concert series.

Songs About Jane was a great album. Maroon 5 USED to be good. Don't know what happened to them in the 5 years between that album and their next...but it wasn't good. I remember hearing the single off of it and thinking, "there's no way this is Maroon 5". They suck now. Hard.

Brooklyn Bowl is a bowling alley with a stage area for concerts... but it's a very, very small area. I've seen Robert Randolph there but the capacity is only 600.

I mean it would be awesome but I'm not even sure the stage is large enough for them to all squeeze on!

The initial announcement stated a show in every borough, right? Where, or who, the hell is going to play in the Bronx? Same goes for Queens? Boyd going to play some tennis at the USTA prior to the show?

The show over in Staten Island will be fun to get to, but depending on crowds a pain to get back from. Plus that cool breeze off the Hudson at night will remind every guy that yes, we too, have nipples.

Don't think they announced that show, along with Queens or the Bronx. Brooklyn and Manhattan are easy to setup, get artists. Other 3... meh. Who wants to play there?
