Yes that is a fence between lawn/pav and its there to stay. Separate entrance for lawn, bathrooms, merch, concessions.

Very cool, thanks for posting.

I can 2nd that the sound there is fantastic. Been to several shows there and it's just an amazing place to see a show, great sound, Chicago skyline in the background, makes for a graet experience.

Just got back from the venue. Very cool big pit area. The lawn looks like it sucks though. It's basically flat and separated by a fence. I'm lawn three nights for Phish. We'll see how that goes

Talked to someone who was at Buffet last night. He asked a venue employee "Will I see you here for DMB?" And the guy just smiled and nodded. He asked when the shows were and the guy smiled again and just shook his head.

Lawn was brutal. Mud city. Long lines. Sound was decent though and it was fun taking a boat across the harbor to the venue! Also...

Confirmed per security guard, DMB will play in Sept.

The lawn was a nightmare. A mass exodus of people leaving halfway through the show.

I was near the front of the lawn and couldn't see a thing on the stage. Sound was just OK.

When I saw OAR there the lawn was close off but it looked pretty miserable. People wouldn't leave if it was DMB most likely but I was concerned about the visibility. Doesn't seem very good

they will sell every last lawn ticket they can, too bad it wasnt sold out already, maybe we would get the announcement sooner.

what a sweet venue renovation! wow! we lived in the loop for quite awhile and often would sit outside the venue in by the beach and planetarium and enjoy the show for free. great views from out there. my standard run was from west loop to planetarium and back. what a beautiful city. wish i could make this show.

It will not be Sept 14-15. I am almost 100% positive that the city does not let Northerly Island schedule any events the same days as Soldier Field (U of I football and Bears) that weekend.

The bears game is a sunday, u of i is saturday at noon.

The concerts could be friday night and saturday night and not interfere with either of those events.

The city won't have 2 events in that area the same day. I had tix a few years back for Sound Tribe and when the bears schedule was announced they moved the show to Aragon Ballroom
