not nearly as bad as so many on here say. Matter-of-fact, as a change of pace, I like to listen to Weekend on the Rocks once in awhile. It's interesting to hear the Stand Up songs featured.

Yeah, this. I'd love most Stand Up songs live, but most are awful in the studio. Especially Hello Again.

Also, Smooth Rider studio is quite possibly the worst thing this band has ever done.

This bonus disc is second only to the Central Park disc. Studio Joyride, Trouble With You, great live cuts of Hello Again, Sugar Will, Recently, Typical. And even that short Mark & Carter Jam is really fun. Why couldn't Mark give more of THAT in his actual production of the band?!

I'd love to get my hands on the CP disc. What would that cost me on ebay? Could I even fine it?

They're definitely better live. I can dig the album, but it certainly could have been better once they road tested them. The songs as they are in their live form and produced by someone else, would have made for a really good album. It's as if they released the demos of the songs.

Have to go with Hunger For the Great Light. I like Stand Up, but holy smokes that is one of the worst recordings of a song by a professional band I've ever heard. It sounds like an 8th grade garage band.

I do agree that is the worst song on the album.

No one here likes Stand Up (the album). I just can't believe it. I refuse to believe it. I can deal with some of it live, but as a studio album, there isn't a single redeeming quality, and I know you all agree despite what you may say on here.

    Happy birffday Stand Up.

I'm indifferent to (the album) Stand Up. It's #7 for me overall. A huge gap between my #7 and my least favorite album. Definitely prefer the live versions of the majority of the songs. I kinda miss the way they played Old Dirt Hill live in 2005. Really enjoy LeRoi on the album though. Wish Hello Again got much much much much much better studio treatment.

The only songs I like of of it is American baby intro, American Baby and hello again. The album isn't good at all, I was happy when it came out because I thought the 04 new songs would be on it but that was a let down. As much as I don't like it as an album, stolen away is great acousticly.

The album was and is a hot mess. It was also a very tumultuous time for the band. I don't see anything to like. I still can't believe Smooth Rider was not only created, but allowed to be put on an album in that state.

In all honesty, when I first heard the album version of Smooth Rider, I thought it was a legitimate/actual joke.
