really? I thought this was the worst episode yet. We pretty much got all the jokes in the first 10 minutes and was just repeated over and over again. Clearly as bad as the Houli option was, it was still better than this douchebag, it seems kind of absurd they would've gone to the point of trying to actually deposit the first amount of money. That Danesh and Gilfoyle would've put their foot down at that point.

and talk about typecasting, I feel that's like the 5th time at least between movies and TV I've seen this actor play just an overbearing tool.

yea I'm really kind of surprised Judge went in this direction, assuming it was him, as the show creator. She's extremely like how Peter was, except she seems even more self-aware of how socially awkward she is, which somehow makes the character kind of worse.

Yeah the show is hilarious and has a ton of potential and promise. But I still think it has a long way to go. Those scenes are terrible and it still doesn't know how to use/what to do with Monica (shocking a nearly all male show has no idea how to use female characters).

Aside from the new chick tonight, I don't really like any of the new characters this season. Russ is only good in small portions. Too much of him and I get annoyed. The bit with his kid was funny, but after that I was tired of him being on screen.

I burst out laughing when he said that. Which has come to be expected on a regular basis with this show.

Definitely the show I most look forward to every week. Honestly wouldn't mind having hour episodes.

Loved this and had to take a video of it. I was hired at my company two years ago and there was already a Jared here who had started a few months earlier.

We used to all have the same banter, saying we should call someone Other Jared, joked about it meaning Original Jared, etc.

oh I thought part of the joke was that he even got the title wrong. I thought he actually said "I really loved the girl with the dragon head". That actress looked really familiar to me, I'm wondering if that was like a radically different look than anything she had before so I couldn't notice right away.


So, clearly I was way in the minority on thinking last week's show was the worst entry in the season, even according to some other feedback I've seen elsewhere (possibly even comparable to the one last year where Jared was stuck in the automated car), but it's nice to see someone else above is at least also pretty annoyed with the new investor dude. I'm just hoping they'll use him as little as possible.

and btw since I've been catching up on Veep lately, though he only had a small role in one episode, but I noticed the guy who plays Dinesh here worked as a number cruncher in the White House, thought he was pretty damn funny in that. And the actor who plays Jared here, his character in Veep could probably be a distant cousin of Jared's.

I didn't look it up, but I thought she looked a lot like the actress who plays Piper's best friend in Orange is the New Black.
