Anyone need a place to stay still for Dallas? I have a room at the Marriot City Center with two Double beds. Email me at mcraven87@gmail.com for details. Will get back to you by later tonight.

A horrible question but I will ask, anyone plan to post on their twitter feed at the show? You using any hashtag like #DMBwoodlands or #DMBTexas ? I know, the guilty please of twitter.

Also I am calling #41 for the opener. The odds of that happening? very low.

My buddy and I do a Dave/Tim tribute in the DFW are and are thinking about playing for this tailgate party, we've never tailgated before and just wanted to get a feel if this would be out of place or not? Our website is www.davematthewsacoustic.com and I just put a cover of "Mercy" up on our youtube page at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tkHGlnJayM

Agree, that said, if I get it both shows, I won't cry - it's still new. It'll be like hearing shake me when it first came out.

The crowd at The Woodlands has always been great IMO. There's tons to eat around here, but keep in mind with IronMan in town EVERYTHING is busy. There's a fair amount of good places to eat within blocks of the Pavilion, and lots of options off the feeders off 44 too.

If you are coming from out of town, Woodlands is a good 30min north of downtown but there will still be very heavy traffic at the venue due to Ironman and simply Friday afternoon. The earlier you can park your car, the better.

The 90s are over and we will never see that band again. Nor do I really want to. They have changed as have we. But they can really bring it on some nights. Do I wish they would bring it more often? Sure. But when the lights come up tomorrow Friday night I will be there with the Mrs and we will be dancing our asses off. I hope the fan base and the band learned something last year. Enjoy it while we have it folks. It will end sometime and then we will miss it more than we will ever know.

Feast your eyes, young Texans, on the beautiful artwork which will be available to purchase at this event with your hard-earned scrip.

EDIT: Whoops that's the Dallas print (still applies to the thread though... hehe)... here is the Woodlands one. I like both of 'em

Will you be in the downtown area? If so, let me know, and I'll give you some suggestions. If you're going from airport to Woodlands, you're outside my zone.

Except that I love Culver's fast food, and one of the few in Houston is in the Woodlands.

wow I tried two times and still couldn't get it right Thanks man.

I like the Dallas one better, but the Woodlands one is decent too. The pattern is pretty cool; reminds me of a Todd Slater print kind of.

It looks like someone mistakenly thought Dallas was the first show of the tour, spent a long time laboring on a poster, and then found out this morning he'd forgotten about the Houston show.

I don't usually buy the Texas posters, but I'm definitely buying the Dallas one. That is wonderful. Might be the best Texas DMB poster I've seen other than the Burwell ACL Taping.

Kinda glad I don't have to worry about grabbing a poster, but a part of me is super jealous of the Dallas print because it is definitely in the top 10 of DMB prints I've seen.

Thank y'all for all the recommendations, i'm arriving at the airport around noonish, then i have nothing to do till show time so i guess i should get to The Woodlands area early to beat traffic and IronMan, right? if there is a good fast food place you guys recommend, i can swing by and try it.

Actually, I just remembered there is a Lupe Tortilla up by the airport. I haven't eaten at that location, but they are generally top rate Tex-Mex. Go there and order beef fajitas.
