I also worry that itll be expensive. 6.99 a pint is too much for a session IPA, when they are normally a bit cheaper than your average IPA.

That being said, my session preference this summer will most likely be Anderson Valley's Blood Orange Gose.
Great choice. I just discovered that awesomeness.

Think Im gonna crack one tonight with dinner. Had a BCBBW the other night so itll be an interesting comparison.

My beer from the MBB had good company tonight! We did a blind taste testing with the IPAs, Lunch was the winner....
Nice lineup! What did you think of the MT Monster's Park with cocoa and coconut? Pretty rare bottle, only 300 and it sold out in 30 seconds... haven't opened mine yet.

I think that is absolutely the case. I find myself going farther and farther away from crystal malts to the point I don't use them in my homebrew anymore for a hoppy beer. And it's gotten to the point that if I order an IPA or DIPA, a darker color will absolutely influence my opinion of it.

That was my favorite beer of the night, but I'm more of a stout guy. Almond Joy for sure, and super smooth. I was surprised it was 13%. Would be interesting to do a side by side with Prop.

Great to hear - am excited to open mine soon. If you can get your hands on the Black House w/coconut & cocoa I highly recommend it (it's just their seasonal, not a crazy release like BA MPs). Tons of flavor packed into a 5.8% stout.

Modern Times is just killing it - every beer they release I'd rate a 90 or above... no duds at all. I hit up their brewery last weekend and had a great time. Definitely my favorite brewery at the moment.
