I like angels and airwaves..but live Tom just talks about UFOs and shit in between songs. The couple reunion Blink shows I went to Mark was making fun of Tom with all the science shit. But Taking Back Sunday, Weezer and Blink all on the same tour was pretty awesome....but my top blink songs are all Tom songs :/

When i saw them in 09, Mark was making fun of AVA - Everything's Magic. It was pretty hysterical. I enjoy some of Angels and Airwaves, but Blink is head and shoulders better IMO.

I agree that Tom's songs are the ones that i generally like better, but I think if this new guitar player can hold his own, i would be open to Mark or the new guy singing Tom's parts. It isn't like Tom was a vocal phenom live. In fact he was probably the weakest part of their live shows. Mark is able to really nail his parts live and there is little to no difference between his Live and Studio performances, and Travis is Travis. This might honestly be the best news for Blink fans, unless of course the Lawyers get involved and Tom tries to drag this out and keep them from going forward under the Blink-182 banner. If he does, it will make me dislike him even more.

Tom seems impossible to work with. Anything he is a part of constantly falls apart.

Saw Angels and Airwaves during Tom's pilled up days.

I've never seen more jesus poses at a show in my life. Absolutely one of the worst shows I've ever seen.

Same here. Say Anything being the headliner and tearing it up made AvA look even worse.. In contrast +44 (marks band) was awesome live.

Mark seems like a true showman. A guy who's goal is to go out and have fun on stage and make sure the audience gets the best show possible.

I was legitimately bummed out when I heard about this yesterday. Still am. This was a band I grew up with and had the pleasure of seeing twice during the reunion. Even though Tom is the least talented of the three, he adds the most personality to the band. I can't see his shoes being filled. Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio) is only a temporary fill in for the upcoming tour dates. I'm hopeful for one of two things happening:

1.) Tom comes to his senses, straightens his act up, drops the ego, and apologizes for everything. Mark and Travis forgive him and they begin recording the long time scheduled album

2.) Mark and Travis move on and make new music together under a different name (legal issues will prevent them from performing under the 'Blink' band name). Perhaps another +44 album but I have no idea what the other two members are doing.

That time he threw the bass Pete Wentz gave him as a gift in the ocean at Jones Beach.

Skiba is fantastic just saw him do a solo show opening for Anberlin. But he is just a short term fill in for the rest of the Europe tour dates

Skiba is still a part of Alkaline Trio. I wouldn't count on seeing much of him.

Both Mark and Tom have issued statements since the ordeal the other night.

Not a huge Brand New fan. Have enjoyed some of the stuff i've heard from them, but none of it has ever put me over the moon for them.

Now, the new Four Year Strong single off their upcoming self-titled effort. Pretty much the shit: http://hangout.altsounds.com/news/16...led-album.html

Releasing the new album, touring behind it in the fall as a farewell tour. Very sad. I'll definitely be checking them out when they come to Denver.

They took a hiatus, but this will be there fourth album since that haha

I don't think Ryan's side project ever really took off.
