this econolodge is right on Alleghany Road (Same street as venue). 5-10 minutes away. right next to I-90 entrance.

Looks like the rate right now is $100 for 2, for one night.

Its the closest place, other than the darien lake resort itself.

If you dont mind driving a little further, there are plenty near the buffalo airport for much cheaper most likely. it would be about 25-30minute drive, once you exit the lots depending on traffic

I know Darien catches a ton of slack, but I am looking forward to the show. From Pittsburgh, its a day trip for me. I have gone with the VIP Parking passes (out within 30 minutes every time) and Pavilion seats...aside from the rain (dont wear sneakers in the Pavilion...the slode causes mini rivers and streams down into the pit), the boys always put forth a solid performance.

I'm assuming not because you didn't know that Darien Lake was not in, or a suburb of, Buffalo.

One year my brother and I were in the Pavilion on the end seat...rain was pouring off the side of the tent, then the wind came and it dumped for a solid 15 minutes right on us....nothing we could do about it but laugh

this happened to me once. day before the show though. i pulled 201 row 1, or A, whatever they call them.

best seats ive ever had there. warehouse, for the last 9yrs, has put me in either section 303, or 304 every time. i just get moved up or down rows most of the time.

id definitely hold out until the ticket drops near the show day.

Funny so many people bitch about RAIN??!! The show last year was amazing (and previous year decent)...seems shows are solid for sure. Sure there are drunk bros around but tell me a show where there aren't?! Last year I saw morons at Alpine, Pittsburgh, Blossom...Is it the limited bathrooms (Blossom had little as well)? The weather (pretty sure DMB can't control the rain clouds but I may be wrong) ???? You people are so lame to bitch.
Pay for better parking or better yet, get there early and park by the very back of the lot (by the exit, duh), last year I was out in less than 5 minutes after walking to the car. And if you're stuck in traffic, ENJOY the party!!
OK, so, am I better off using my priority for this show (closest to my house) or SPAC?? Last year I was shut out of SPAC...should I just wait for ticket drops for Darien? (definitely want indoor seats to protect me from any monsoon like last year-where the seat was much appreciated!

Ahhhh, good to let it out, and happy the "leaked" show list was incorrect!

OK, now that the request period has been extended, I'm thinking of joining WH and trying for pit. If I was declined I would just go through presale or TM since I've had good luck there. Anyone have thoughts about chances for getting pit through WH? Is it worth it, or a waste of money?
