i didnt say i know what shows they will and wont be at. i just said they wont be at every show, which means at some point there is going to be a show where they won't come out. tonight looks to be one of those nights. and i know that they won't be at every show because they weren't at every show last year and they haven't been at every show this year. so its pretty safe to say there will be other shows that the ladies will not be at. if they were going to be at every show from the rest of the tour, they would have made it to the first 2 as well.

Very solid acoustic set last night. Was very surprised by how good SDL was. Not a big fan of it but the outro jam was fantastic - lots of energy, crowd involvement.

It took a couple tour weeks, but the acoustic sets are overall improved from last year. I still feel the flow needs to be improved here and there. There's been quite a few series of songs that destroy the energy, but have been happy to see a better variety this year. I'd love if they kept it up and continued to play new songs in the acoustic set for the rest of the tour.

I'm gonna say though, after 2 years of this and the shoddy electric sets...I hope this is the last year they do 2 sets. I'd rather either see a show that is full acoustic or full electric. Not both.

Definitely over the acoustic set gimmick.
    Just dreadful last night.
Even though the final Jane-Raven-Billies run tried to salvage that turd, the performances were very lackluster.

I dug the mellow vibe last night. Last night was my 24th show and I have to say it's been cool to see the band in so many different ways over the years. I'm a Take Me Tomorrow fan and just don't get the hate for that one. Maybe I was just in a mellow mood last night, but I thought it was a nice ease into the night. Boyd absolutely lit the place up with that Billies solo. That was honestly one of the best Billies I've seen or heard in years, and surprisingly enough it was because of Boyd. People around me were just looking around saying "wow, Boyd is back!"

Guess my friend, our whole row and I are all in the minority, but we were all having a blast last night. Definitely something to be said about actually being at the show versus watching it unfold on the web.

I thought TMTT sounded nice... but to open a set with a solo acoustic cover, followed by butterfly unknown to 90% of the venue, then play Oh unknown to probably 75% of the venue? Really?

And then play Where Are You Going when you bring the rest of the band on? WAYG is fine for the acoustic set, but not when you open like that.

Just a different vibe and flow. Been to plenty of other bands shows that start slow and mellow. Can't go into these shows expecting to start with a bang.

I dig it, but to each their own.
