This is all it boils down to. the back half of the upper pavilion should be cheaper at most venues.

Not possible to get lowers for Shoreline through public sales. Only Warehouse (need to be extremely lucky) or broker sites.

This is literally my first bad Ticketmaster experience in...i don't know...ever? I've been incredibly fortunate over the years, guess I was due.

Oh well, still 5 months until the show I'll just be on the lookout on here and ticket drops.

Wow I can't believe you pulled lowers!! I didn't think that was possible

I guess it's kind of like winning the lottery

Honestly it seems this way for most venues, unless you pull tickets way off to the side or singles

A couple popped up for a friend of mine during the public sale but they were snagged before she could claim them. But I agree. It is damn near impossible to get lowers at shoreline. And WH never gives me lowers there....even though I'm a 13 year member.

I pulled a lower single for N1, 2 rows behind pit. Trying to get a pair of lower pavilions for N2 for my dads first ever DMB show!

Anyone know when (if?) TM/LN releases tickets back into the system from orders that were cancelled due to exceeding the ticket limit?

There have been lots of pit drops so they may have already started doing that

But otherwise I don't think there is any scheduled date/time or way to figure it out

I feel the same, but I'd rather be in the last row of the pavilion than on the lawn.

I wouldn't be thrilled about it, but if those are the best seats I can get I'll take 'em and keep reminding myself that I won't need to worry about rain, or people running into me, or arriving early to get a good spot.

I didn't always feel this way, but my last few lawn experiences were a little too annoying.

Lawn is awful. I'd rather take last row of pavilion as well.

I locked down a pair of Dallas Pits on the L.N. Presale, but the next day for Public Sale all I could pull was Lawns for Woodlands. And I mean I was on at 09:59 cst just waiting to hit refresh. Which is bogus to me! Now I've just gotta find me some lowers for Woodlands.

Now I totally get some people not "caring" what seat they get and don't get me wrong it's always gonna be about they music that's first and foremost. I mean its nice to be able to know that hey in the end I at least have a seat. But man I don't wanna have to stare at a projection screen all night either especially if its an out of town show you're traveling to.

I'd much, much rather sit in the lawn at Deer Creek than the last 12-15 or so rows of the pavilion. Then again, the Deer Creek lawn is awesome (sound and sight) and I've surprisingly never really had an awful experience for DMB in the lawn there. If I ever go back to Alpine (doubt I will), I will definitely do pavilion though. I went in 2012 and it was the biggest shitshow I've ever been a part of. Just doucebags and bitches everywhere you turned in the lawn, couldn't get away.

Just figured i would share since I have heard people asking about it. I usually do well with ticketmaster.. this year I did as well. My whole family helps me during the on sale time get tickets. Most years I exceed the ticket limit for PIT at the shows I am going to. This year I pulled 3 PIT for the show at Blossom and had 1 of them cancelled. I was shocked as this is the first time EVER that has happened. It truly must just be luck of the draw with the ticket limits as I have 4 PIT to other shows that were not canceled. Just sharing in case anyone was interested.

Just got an e-mail that all Live Nation tickets orders include a one-year subscription to Rolling Stone... be sure to call and cancel or else they will auto-renew and charge your CC!!! (Rolling Stone sucks, by the way).

This had happened to me a couple of years back, however I just would like to say that I had no idea that I was even opted in. So when I had received the first magazine sent to me by rolling stone I had called and asked why I was receiving a subscription. The Rolling Stone Rep pulled my info based off an account number printed on the mailing label of the magazine and told me it was because I had recently purchased tickets with LN. I asked if I was charged for the subscription and the Rep told me "not exactly", that it was "built into" the ticket cost and if I had opted out I would have received a refund of $14.99 even though LN calls it "complementary". She later told me that it was only for a year and its not auto renewed. If I so choose at the end of the year I would be mailed one last magazine and it would include a card that had info for a "discounted" rate for renewal that I would select and mail back in or fill out online.

The Rolling Stone subscriptions I've received through LiveNation didn't auto-renew.

Could be different this year, I guess.

Yea, it's been nice having that option. I subscribed to it for years but it got to a point where I didn't want to pay for it anymore. So it's been nice getting it for free for a couple years now.

Though I didn't notice/realize that if you opt out, the price of your ticket goes down. Are we sure about that? If so, we need to adjust how we sell tickets on here because it's not really fair to pass the cost of your Rolling Stone subscription on to the buyer of your tickets.

Though I didn't notice/realize that if you opt out, the price of your ticket goes down. Are we sure about that? If so, we need to adjust how we sell tickets on here because it's not really fair to pass the cost of your Rolling Stone subscription on to the buyer of your tickets.

I guess subscription cost has gone down, I know when I called it was $14.99. However I don't believe they include it for every show. Last year I didn't receive one after I bought DMB tix

I got a free year subscription to sports Illustrated when I bought a pair of shoes in the fall. Thought that was cool. I don't mind rolling stone, I doubt they could have something auto renew that they didn't even prompt you about when buying the tickets

Just got an email that my tickets have been printed, so anyone who was worried because they ordered to many tickets, check your email.
