I don't know? I love the DVD releases, but I could never get myself to order this ******** thing. From what I've seen on the you tube, looks like they're just selling the screen footage. I miss the real DVD jobs that were actually filmed with pro shots. The PCM Stereo ones sound beautiful, Radio City is a perfect one. Even though I've never watched, or heard it all the way through, I'd say don't pay through the stinkin' nose going the used route. I wouldn't think it'd be worth it, ya know.

It is just the screen footage, which is starting to get to me. Really hoping we get a real dvd/bluray release sometime. Pick a show and record it. Radio City was great, as most things done by Sam Erickson in regards to the band are.

It's better than no DVD IMO. If Copperpot5 is not going to return to youtube, we are pretty limited in quality video full shows of the band. I would take a screen shot DVD with every live trax if they would make it. And perhaps a Pro Shot one every 4 years or so. We're def due. But my guess is the cost to profit is not worth it. An official release would not make much since right now for this band.

I do notice a lot of footage errors on LT 32. Zooming in on a musician during a solo, when they are not the one playing the solo. Zooming on Dave's hands while Tim is soloing. Zooming in on the horns while Boyd is ripping it. The cutting away to another musician who is still not the right one. Maybe they hire idiots for camera work?? Bad editing for sure on a couple songs. But still enjoy having it and would recommend buying it at store value, but not for more.

I only watched it once so didn't notice those things. I understand what you mean though. Something might be better than nothing. Although those errors are surprising because the crew that does that, does it for every show so they should know when a solo is coming and so on. But it's been what 6 years since a real video release and that was Europe.

Pretty accurate assessment, when editing in studio like for Central Park they have the luxury of having some 10+ camera angles to look through to ensure they have the best shot on screen during each moment of each song.

Makes me pine for a proper DMB Blu-ray even more, but I'd be more than happy to re-buy Piedmont or CP on BD.

Satellite, Crash into Me, Ants Marching, Rhyme and Reason, are 4 of the best performances of those songs ever. Just listen to those 4 at some point. I can't stand Crash, but this version just kills. Can't Stop is amazing as well. I love this show.

Can't Stop is easily the worst song in their catalog, in my opinion.

It's actually the other way around. Performances are good in the acoustic set, and the setlist isn't that bad in the electric set, but the performances in set 2 aren't great. Dave fucks up #41, his voice is bad the entire show, and the Lovely Ladies make every song worse (except JTR and Stay). Also, many agree that Can't Stop is their worst song.

I don't hate Can't Stop. It's not my #1 song, but it has gotten a lot better with this lineup. Tim's solo at the end is usually spot on and the horns round it out with the line at the end. DMB covers a lot of genres and that's what makes them so unique. This is a bluesy rock song that I think they do well. I mentioned all this in the "unpopular opinions" thread. The version with Gary Clark Jr. from VA Beach 6/17/12 is pretty sick.

This release is wicked bad though, and the worst of the series.

I really don't like Can't Stop, either. I might say it's the worst song I've heard of theirs live. However, I thought the Lovely Ladies made that song a lot more tolerable last year. Still don't want it, but thought it was better with them.

Regarding the release, I still haven't watched the whole DVD, and I was at the show, so don't know if that says something...
