Re: *** Dave & Tim * Bristow, VA * Farm Aid 2016 ***

Is there a list of public ticket prices?
Edit
https://www.farmaid.org/concert/tickets/

Looks like 189.50 is top, using sections 1 2 3 so no pit. Cool. That price point is pushing it though

hmm yeah, but I am wondering if farm aid is a different dynamic...don't know if there will be as much ticket turnover as the gorge

Something tells me they might be melted by the time they get to you. I posted the recipe in the JLL thread if you want to make them yourself. Come back to Bristow in 2018 and I'll bring the jello shots and the Jager.

The recipe itself looked pretty daunting, but I think it would be worth it for those!

Jello shots + a cupful of those gummy bearz =

The recipe's actually pretty short. The bulk of what I wrote were tips I learned from the various times I've made them.

Grabbed two reserved. Probably gonna regret that when my credit card bill comes next month. May end up dumping them, we'll see. I am excited about the lineup beyond D&T though.

Grabbed two lawns in agreement w/ what AJC said above. Don't have to worry about it now. How long is the whole show likely to be?

    Right on!

On the tickets... think I'll be OK waiting or should I just go ahead and grab a ticket. I'm only getting a lawn ticket.

I think you'll probably be fine. I'd think lawn tickets would be fairly easy to come by.

Honestly, it comes down to whether I want a pretty lawn ticket. Unless the Farm Aid tickets through the WH aren't pretty. In which case, I don't care.

My wife bought me/us lawn seats as a birthday gift. I'm very excited about seeing Dave and Time again this summer.

    Question:
Does Farm Aid typically announce what time slots each artist/band is supposed to play?

I understand there could be a difference in scheduled time and actual time, but I'm just trying to get an idea of how this concert works.

Willie Nelson and Blackbird Presents announced the first ever Outlaw Music Festival taking place Sunday, September 18, at Montage Mountain, Scranton. The festival will feature performances by Willie Nelson & Family, Neil Young + Promise of the Real, Sheryl Crow, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Lee Ann Womack and Brothers Osborne. Additional performers and special events will be announced in the coming weeks.

What is the chances D&T gets added since its the day after Farm Aid.

Dave and Tim just didn't fit that festival well. They'd be pretty out of place. I mean I hope I'm wrong considering this is my backyard, but I just don't see it happening.

I've been to a couple farm aids and Dave usually comes on at 7. There is usually a Farm Aid app for your phone that has the times the bands play.
