Last time I checked there's still plenty of tickets on TM

Yeah, it looks like there should be plenty of elbow room - but god knows how many people will be in the PIT. They are still going on TM and have been since the on-sale date.

i think last year they sold out a week or two before the show. of course there's the possibility that people who were in the pit last year share my opinion of "never again."

last year it being 100 out didn't help matters. 100 degrees+shoulder to shoulder in pit=literal hot mess

Hm. I'm curious with GNR playing Arrowhead how much ticket sales will tumble on the secondary market. For example, my usual crew is ditching us for GNR, and I doubt that any amount of persuading will get them to switch.

This will be my 2nd year in a row at Bonner Springs -- its kind of always gonna be Sandstone to me.

Last year I had really nice seats in the lower bowl area -- horn side -- about 5 rows back from the pit.

This year I went ahead and got the pit tix. Might be regretting that but I missed a lot of shows over the years -- this is only my 4th.

However, I have been to a lot of crazy shows with a lot of crazy pits, so I kind of know how to navigate that. Wish me luck.

i got a feeling there's going to be plenty of room this year. GnR for better or for worse at arrowhead. i'm sure after that show was booked tour mgmt was wishing they had booked something smaller like starlight (that's also my wishful thinking that they'd play a smaller venue).

anyway, said it before and i'll see it again, i'm very intrigued to see what the turnout is like. just last weekend my buddy was trying to talk my wife and i into betraying DMB and going to see Axl. No dice dude, but hey, maybe we can take a trip to Montreal to catch them.

I hope you are right. I've wanted to do a DMB Pit since I my first show, but I always had a hard time convincing my wife. After last year's shout Sandstone, she was totally in because of the size and shape (slope) in the pit.

I can't wait. Looks like the temp will be better than last year -- and lets hope the rain holds off for a while.

HyVee up here in Omaha had Dreaming Tree wines on sale. Got a few bottles to drink while I am listening to tunes this week in preparation for the show.

Wife and I are driving down from Omaha. Gonna hit the Brick Oven pizza place in Legends for some take out and then to the lots for some pre-show drink. Plan to have a few extra bottles of Dreaming Tree for new friends

My wife will be driving back from the Moline show so I'm expecting her to be at our house around 3 or 4. I'll probably let her (haha, "i'll let her..." - right) unpack and catch her breath. With the show not starting until 8, us not being the crazy 20 somethings anymore, and having to go in a tad late Thursday there really isn't any reason to be there until 5. But that's just us. you all can have fun in the meantime.

Crane Brewing is a relatively new brewery that makes some really good beer. Not sure if you've ever been to Oklahoma Joe's (now called KC Joes), but if you haven't it is the best in town. Get the Z man

I'm flying solo to the show. Wifey decided to back out since we're heading up to Alpine for two shows this weekend. I have one WH ticket available: Section 5 Row Y. Would like to get face value ($85) if possible but will take best offer. Since I'm flying solo, looks like I'll have to make some new friends in the lots.

Speaking of the parking lots, any word yet on when they open? The website says 2 hours before each show, but those are usually adjusted depending on the show.

Hey, heading to the Bonner Springs show on Wednesday! I know that the venue has two parking lots - one out front, and one behind the stage area. Are there Warehouse lines in both lots, does anyone know? Also, I see that someone mentioned that lots open at 5:30, but I was planning on getting there earlier in the day. It is possible to park before 5:30?

FYI we had no problem having some beers in the parking lot before the show last year for DMB and Mumford the year before that. Not sure why they continue to put no tailgating.
