UPDATED! Let me know if I need to add/delete anything.
LOT OPENING TIME:
Live Nation, so usually this:
Parking: 4:00pm
Doors: 6:00pm
Show: 8:00pm...they have been going on around 8:20.
They
usually open them early because of the cars that line up on Rt. 18.

ALT TO 22/30 ROUTES:
I posted some back road pointers in previous years to avoid the 22/30 back up when getting off the exit and now with it being 1 lane each way from Oakdale until ???, which a few people used and I assume was useful from the thanks I received. I figured I would post options again this year to help people out. I picked a random starting point for these to show the route.
The Imperial exit then parallel to Rt22 route:

The Rt30W through Clinton to Rt18S route:

The Oakdale exit to North Branch to Midway to Rt18N route:
https://goo.gl/maps/qFu0B (North Branch Road is closed right before Rt 980 so there is a long detour!)
The I79 to venue (without using 22/30) route:

Also, if 22/30 interchange at Robinson is backed up, go past it and take 576 at the airport down to Rt22W:

I think the toll is 50 or 75 cents.
RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA...MOSTLY BASED ON GOOD BEER:
Fat Head's - For beer or food, I always name this #1 for out of towners.
Piper's Pub - Across the street from Fat Head's. Also excellent food.
Bocktown Beer & Grill - Next to Target in Robinson (actually North Fayette but everyone calls it Robinson). Local place, love it.
Industry Public House - Next to Sam's Club and near Bocktown. Just opened this year after the Larryville one being very popular. Great beer selection. Good brunch too.
Church Brew Works - Amazing building. Above average beers, but only serve what they make. Above average food that can be hit or miss sometimes, in my experience.
Beerhead Bar - Since the Pirates are in town the same weekend again, it is right next to PNC Park. It's a BYOFood place with a wide selection of beers. You can bring in food or order it delivery. A chain that started in Chicago.
Shiloh Grill - Mt. Washington. Very good if you ride up on the incline. (cbr60)
Meat & Potatoes - Downtown. May be impossible to get a reservation at this point, but probably in the top 3 restaurants in the city. (cbr60)
Mad Mex - Robinson. Also a good American/Mexican restaurant. Huge margs and a great beer selection. (cbr60)
Emporium at Sienna Mercato - Downtown. 3 levels: Meatballs, pizza, and roof top bar with bar food. (TheLastPig)
Gaucho - Best restaurant in the city hands down. (hailtopitt and I have to agree with him.)
If you're looking for a place to buy beer for tailgating, Market District (Giant Eagle) in Robinson has a good selection. You can't buy cases there though...just individual bottles or 6ers. They have a limit of 192 oz for purchases but you can also have multiple people or buy your limit, go to your car, then come back in.
Beer distributor just off 22/30 Imperial exit: Essex, 100 Market Pl Dr, Oakdale, PA 15071 (next to McD's and Shop N Save).
