Ill say family guy, I laugh my ass off all the time.

Simpsons was great in it's prime, but it's died off now and just consists of Homer doing stupid shit....and South Park is not as good as it used to be either

Family Guy - Gag based comedy. Great for what it is. Not centered around plot, but thats not what its about. Fantastic show.

South Park - Commentary based comedy. Centered around plot, but with a finger on the pulse of society. Over the top humour, done well a majority of the time. Also fantastic.

Simpsons - Plot based comedy. Used to have underlying messages within its themes, including social commentary, moral currents, and just great writing. Is now about "wacky situations" with their characters, plus special guests. It used to be better than all, now is worse than all.

Here's the problem, it needs to be defined further. Because right now, obviously not many are going to be on the Simpsons bandwagon. But the fact of the matter is that without the success of the Simpsons, Family Guy and South Park may not even exist. The Simpsons redefined animation, and the "adult" cartoon.

I think the Simpsons deserves my vote. There's just SO MANY EPISODES and I've laughed to death so many times. Family Guy is great, I love it. So is South Park.

That's why i think this should be further defined.

all 3 shows have really lost it lately, but in it's prime, i'll take south park. I've never laughed harder at 1 show than south park

alright then to further define it i'd have to say...in its prime...not just right now, i know its hard to compare. i used to live by the simpsons and now i live by family guy i hate south park tho

South Park. The social commentary is great, and it's basically immediate with their creation methods. For the Simpsons to do that, it takes months just to make each episode, so it doesn't have the same immediate effect.

For example, when Passion of the Christ came out, South Park almost immediately responded with Cartman's Passion of the Jew episode. It was hilarious, it has a purpose, and it was instantaneous.

This better explains how you should vote. Look at each series in their prime and decide.

For me, I am not a fan of the Simpsons. I just started watching Family guy in the last year. As for South Park, I watched the premier on Comedy Central in 1997 and died laughing. Been a fan ever since. So my vote went with SP.

had to give it to south park. the way they develop their stories is like a movie in a half hour. Family Guy is really great at bringing different parts of the story together at the end though a lot like seinfeld. the simpsons get little more than a chuckle if you're not in high school.

southpark i witty and the political/cultural issues they parodize (sp?) in their episodes are great, but south park doesn't really make me laugh out loud...not like family guy where if im watching it at my parents' in the other room, they are constantly like, "uh are u okay?", cuz there's many times i laugh so loud it could possibly sound like i'm dying.

Ok i have to say something about this

You have to give this to the Simpsons......they paved the way for both of these shows and in there prime it was genius

I give some props to South Park because it pushes the envolope and it makes fun off our social issues. nicely done

Family guy is at the bottom because although it is very funny, it gets very old very quickly. Also the South Park episode ruined FG for me because of how true it is

So Simpsons>South Park.........................>FG
