I love this pick as well, which inevitably means Chiefs by 5 TD's.

I'm going to pass on tonight's actions. my lean is KC -7.5 but the 'flat' makes sense... I just don't know if I trust The Chiefs enough. I like the O in this one and Ark St (58.5), but I've sworn them off - which I forgot on last sunday which sucked.

Western Kentucky -9.5. This isn't a usual spot for me, but WKU is en fuego right now running the ball, and UTSA is just too banged up to hang with WKU in a scoring fest. Hilltoppers averaging 50 ppg at home this year.


Boston College +9.5 1st half. Why fight it? FSU hasn't done squat in the 1st half all year.


Virginia +6. Terrible spot for The U; off a bad loss and nothing much to play for going up to C'ville on a Sat night.



and one bonus game:


Florida -30.5. Eastern Kentucky isn't bad on the FBS, but they're banged up and will have a terrible time moving the ball. If EKU scores they cover likely, but this is a 35/42-0 game. The kids want to play well for Muschamp.

also of note, Fordham is a 3.5 pt road favorite up the Hudson v Army. When was the last time this late in a season a D-II team was favored over a D-I team? And Fordam should win and cover pretty easily.

I've never seen someone willingly take sacks like that. Penn St will be on my do not call list for a while b/c of that. It seems fishy to me.

As a penn state fan, i tend to agree, but i also have a feeling you are saying that because someone that actually watched the game (a psu fan) said the same thing in the college football thread. of all the games on to start off the afternoon you watched the PSU game?? cmon.

I have 2 TV's running - on the 60' I watched Penn St. That's the 3rd Penn St game I've seen this year, but I watched this one with the most interest, my homework said that Penn St should've won something like 27-3. I was pretty shocked what I saw.


when I see a QB rolling into sacks it makes me wonder. He also missed some passes by a mile, but he does that a lot. It's the awful sacks that made me say something weird is going on...reminded me of Adrian McPherson from FSU when he was too fired up over meaningless TD's late in games that covered. Just odd mannerisms that stand out.


they're 5-6 ATS, but that doesn't really mean much. I don't know... but it's weird. And the reality is that if that guy doesn't jump offsides on the punt in the 2nd qtr it's 7-0 at the half and it's a different ballgame, but man he takes the worst sacks I've ever seen.

theyve kept their games pretty close this year. lost by 10 AT wisconsin by only 10, putting up 28. beat minnesota who has been on a roll and near the top of the big 10.....got cused by ohio state in the shoe but thats not surprising. psu is horrendous this year. exactly why i avoided this game.

but yeah...hackenberg is mind boggling to me.....i was touting him at the beginning of the season. but hes let me down.
