Missouri is not that great this year, the East has been pretty bad the last two years when they've made their runs, and I do think they will lose to Arkansas next week (very bad matchup for their strengths) - but I think Gary Pinkel is a hell of a coach. He has less natural athletic talent than basically all the teams they play in the SEC, and just wins with loads of 3 star guys. They lost all their wideouts last year and have a QB who doesn't play well in their usual offensive schemes, and they've really reworked things to suit their strengths. I just think their coach does a heck of a job.

I'm happy for Mizzou, finding some success in the SEC.

Can't help but laugh at Colorado. I guess if you're going to live in the cellar, it might as well be on the west coast. They really just need to drop to whatever turd conference their rival Colorado State is in. And live in that cellar.

If that school actually had any fans, they could definitely come in here and bust my balls about 2001 Big XII Championship Game.

As much as that game stings, it did make the burnt orange nation fall in love with Major Applewhite.

Southern Cal is a perfect example of how bowl bans and vacating wins really do nothing in the long run to a school that has broken a dumb rule. Limiting scholarships has set them back several years and they're still paying for it.

but here's my weekly "FSU isn't a top 5 team" post. Marshall is unbeaten and plays nobody... FSU is unbeaten and plays nobody. The only difference is FSU won it all last year.
