Re: Jerseys?

The fakes are better now than they were even a few years ago. Steelers and Colts jerseys were especially easy to spot as fakes because the seem that separated the mesh from the non-mesh part of the jersey should be on a diagonal that would meet in the collar, as opposed to an eagles jersey that has that same seem going straight across the jersey, going underneath the collar. The counterfitters have caught on to this and have it right now. They used to make all the jerseys with the seem going straight across under the collar.

For people who ordered jerseys off that b2cjersey.com site, you remember how long it took to ship? I ordered mine Thanksgiving day and have yet to hear anything from them about it. On the website, in my account it says it's processing but it has said that since i ordered it. Just getting a little concerned that they haven't even sent me an email or anything saying they got my order and would be sending it in x number of days.

this site is legit. i've ordered a few from them, and they're the real deal. they're authentic jersey's that didn't pass inspection for something minor (string hanging off, a couple of loose stiches, etc) but nothing major. i bought a Chiefs throwback Derrick Thomas jersey that just came in. it had one string hanging from the sleeve that i cut off as soon as i noticed it. $300 jersey for $30. they have NFL, MLB, NHL, NCAA, NBA and kids and womens jerseys too. worth checking out.

Looking at the Blackhawks ones, I can tell you for a fact those are fake Chinese ones too. There's no such thing as "didn't pass inspection great deal jerseys".

There's really nothing wrong with ordering them, just know what it is you're ordering.

good to know. i've only ordered the NFL ones, and i can't tell a difference. a couple of the guys in my office have ordered various Penguins jerseys including the new winter classic jerseys. they've mentioned that the hockey ones are a little bit off in quality and craftsmanship, but not enough to keep them from saving $200+ per jersey.

Yeah. It seems everyone has a "jersey connection", and really, they're all the same thing. It's like the DVDs and fake purses and shit from China. People always have a "didn't pass inspection" or "knows someone from Reebok", and they're all the same thing.

They do a pretty good job making it look real (fake "authentic" tags, etc.)

The hockey ones are easily the worst, and I think the MLB ones are the best.

I really can't tell the difference on my Giants jerseys. All of the stitching and logos/tags look legit. I know they're fake but I certainly can't tell. I mean $35 shipped is a steal.

I haven't seen a single jersey on here that even tries to look real.

I have multiple Bills ones and Red Sox ones and you can't tell the difference between them and the authentics that my friends have. You're just being a snob for the sake of doing it. The fact is, people don't have $200 to spend on a jersey. And to say "you shouldn't buy one then" is ridiculous...

I'll try it for the hell of it. That blue Sox one looks sharp and I could use a Youk Jersey. I wish they had some Crawford and AGon's up. Tara jersey has a couple Agons.

    Re: Jerseys?

Is there anyone here who owns a jersey for every single player on your home team that actually has a jersey made for their name/# (since obviously the manufacturer doesn't simply do the entire 25 man roster)?
And mind you I'm not talking about the full fledged player type jerseys, but just the tshirts that are like a simplified version of the jersey.

Although I guess if you're hardcore enough to actually own all available players on your team even in the real type of jerseys like the players wear, well goddamn good for you! But I'd expect the tshirt question is more likely.

I don't have any of the Phillies, though I've been saying for a couple years now that I really wouldn't mind having an Utley tshirt, particularly the one in blue.

I guarantee some people can tell the difference. If you know what to look for, it's pretty easy. Plus, the material is pretty shitty, and the stitching usually falls apart a lot easier.

I'm a lot less pissed when I spill something on a 27 dollar jersey though.

    Absolutely.

I'm not gonna lie, I have a couple myself. I have a Carlos Quentin one, a Patrick Kane, a Jonathan Toews and a Jay Cutler.

Just know what it is you're wearing. It's shitty stitching, shitty material, etc. etc. Nothing wrong with wearing that stuff every once and a while, especially if you know it might get beat up/spilled on. I'm wearing my fake green Blackhawks sweater every March 17th and every unofficial at U of I.

I will admit that I think some of the decent fakes look better than those cheap iron on decals Reebok throws on. I'd rather have a fake jersey than the iron on decal jerseys. I think everyone should own at least one real jersey of the teams they really follow though, instead of a bunch of fake ones.

This is how I roll, too. My girlfriend got me a Brian Dawkins jersey she thought was authentic. I was devastated; I still wear it, but only because I love her. It's very easy to tell it's not authentic.

When I see people out and they're wearing faux-authentic stuff, I want to tell them...but I don't have that in me.

    Hilarious.

Do you really think the people that are wearing these thing they are getting an authentic for 40 bucks?? They know it is fake and they don't care. It's funny people like you care so much though. Honestly either way it's just a jersey.

A lot of people do. They give the "minor errors that are unnoticeable" or "I know someone at Reebok" etc.

A lot of people see that it's stitched on and automatically think it's the real deal.

You can definitely tell the difference. I have about 5 fake ones as well, which are actually very well done, but if you look close you can see they are fake. Easiest giveaways are the Logos. For example the NFL logo on the vneck of the jerseys, fake ones will have a pretty sloppy done football, same thing on the size tag, football wont have as much detail as they "authentic" ones. Pretty easy to overlook if you are not looking closely. Same thing with the MLB, and NBA ones, the logos just won't look exactly right.

I'm interested in how good that tarajersey site is.
