If you have a chance to check out Gregory Alan Isakov's album with the Colorado Symphony, do it. It's an auditory eargasm

Amos Lee is solid, I've been covering Windows Rolled Down lately at bars

Love seeing all The Revivalists love in here. They are seriously great, and sound incredible on their live releases. I've yet to catch a show, but I've heard they are awesome. If anyone wants a good intro to them, check out the live cuts from the City of Sound album.

I'm also a huge fan of Moon Taxi, listen to them a ton.

Couldn't agree more. That album is something else. Saw him open at the Gorge and then caught him with the Symphony when they swung through Chicago.

    This is a cool thread

Not sure how "new" these guys are but they're new to me. Futurebirds

A friend turned me on to them few months back when we saw them at a basement show in Iowa. These guys have a pretty cool sound. Lots of reverb, steel guitar and pedal slide. People have called them psychedelic country but not sure I completely agree with that.

I've been listening to a lot of their stuff including their new album. They also have a live album out and you can find most their stuff on YouTube and Spotify. They're also hitting a good portion of the country this spring/summer. Highly recommend seeing these guys if they stop by your area

No one that new right now. I'm getting older and get why old people don't like the younger generations music. By older I'm in my 30's and listen to stuff I grew up listening to. I still think music I bought in 2011 is new.

So.... I keep going back in time and have been discovering the blues. Sonny Boy Williamson, Muddy Waters, Elmore James, and my new favorite Lightnin' Hopkins. That mans guitar playing is dirty and evil.

With the recent passing of Chuck Berry I've been listening to the This is: playlist on Spotify. Every song he wrote has been ripped off in one form or another. Crazy.

Nathaniel Rateliff is a must if you haven't heard him and the Night Sweats. Just go see them live. You will not be disappointed and your soul will thank you. It's joyful.

I used to live a few blocks away from him in Denver, and would run into him at Chipotle before he was this famous. His wife worked at a local restaurant right there too. They are really awesome and I couldn't be happier to see a local musician get so much deserved success.

I love OAR and I was looking forward to taking this summer off from DMB to follow them but the fact they are touring with/opening for Train totally ruined that for me
