Peterborough...about an hour and 20 min away from the ampitheatre.

So I have a question: where else is it feasible to go to this year? I can't take any time off of work for a concert (I've used up my flex time for other things) and I'm new to this area of Canada....any ideas?

i've tried it, and i'm glad i'm not there anymore! the town can be a ton of fun, but absolutely everything fun there involves heavy drinking...not that there is anything wrong with that, but it's cold!

ottawa is a fun city. love going out in ottawa.

Ill give you that, Sudbury is damn cold, even though they say "its a dry cold" -40 wet cold whatever it is, IS DAMN COLD!!!!!! Good times in that city though, I miss it!

So what are some good places to go to before the concert that are near the Ampitheatre, whenever I go there, I just go to the concert and jet, but seeing as though we have to celebrate DMB coming to town, PLUS CANADA DAY, I wanna find a wicked place to party!!!

I think I'm just going to go WH..or is that a bad idea? I'm afraid to get shitty seats through WH, if I go both, I'm also afraid that I wont be able to get rid of my tickets...any opinions?

You should be able to get rid of your tickets...i did last year..although i took a lot of heat from the scalpers..they hated me that day..since I was selling my tix for face value...one actually asked how I would feel if he came to my place of work and tried taking money away from me...so try steering clear of them. They really suck!

I traded 401 for 201 to the scalpers...a few people walked by and said "dont do it" and the scalpers were swearing bigtime at them

    Ooooooooooh... exciting.

Well, we all know the jazz festival is around the end of June. But guess who is playing in town on June 30th? FLECKTONES! Oh, I like the looks of this!

That would kick ass! At the 4.20.02 show, they joined DMB on stage for the 32 minute #41...it was the greatest thing! It would be so amazing if they toured with DMB again.
