still want to get the '1' vinyl.
are the stereo vinyl reissues worth getting? not the box-set, just the non-mono albums. abbey road, yellow submarine and let it be.

I plan on getting Abbey Road and Let It Be in the stereo versions just so I can be complete. I do have a 70's Capitol orange label reissue of Abbey Road that sounds really good though.
The stereo vinyl wasn't *bad* per se, but it wasn't AAA like the Mono set. They used hi-res digital files, and then the US pressings were frought with errors - surface noise, off center pressings, etc. If you got a good one, they were fine, but there were a lot of duds out there. I imagine it was particularly frustrating if you had the box set as you may end up with mostly nice copies and then 2 or 3 that had issues and have to return them piecemeal.
