I attended both shows and 7.10.04 was exceptional,
but the better show was definitely 7.02.04

I'm not a part of the cult of GGT, and we've got good enough versions now, so I'm all about 7/27/04 release at this point... great versions of the '04 songs. Joyride had a murderous vibe to the lyrics that's unique... no bobblehead mention in them, either. Hello Again has a big Carter solo and Dave is wailing away in parts of the song, and let's not forget a beautiful Captain... the Too Much bookends are cool, but not reason enough to release it... it's just a great performance by the band top to bottom. One of my top DMB shows ever. The last great show I've seen in Atlanta.

absolutely. The intro to Crazy Easy while dave was definitely pooping/peeing was so beautiful. I was sitting very close and he suddenly left the stage with a "OH MY GOD SOME TYPE OF BODILY FUNCTION IS HAPPENING TO ME UNEXPECTEDLY RIGHT NOW I HAVE TO LEAVE THIS STAGE" so Butch and the band started this gorgeous intro. Dave came back out and almost seemed upset that he was going to ruin this beautiful piece of music. Love it. Than i slept in my car at a rest stop and went to Nissan Pavilion the next day and sat next to some OG taper who knew dave.
