They didn't release the schedule until after that article came out. There could have been talks for other movies on the table that got axed before info got out there.

My thing just was if WB is going to make less movies in general we'd probably see less DC movies as a result of that. They could take the Disney approach to Pirates and axe other projects to push more DC movies. We'll never know unless North Korea leaks all of WB's emails.

What? The movie schedule was released a while back. They just announced two upcoming movies.

I really enjoyed the Supergirl finale. Even though the show hasn't been renewed for Season 2, they're already talking about it in future tense in this EW interview: http://www.ew.com/article/2016/04/18...son-2-spoilers

Now on the subject of the ending:

I was going to say the same thing, TwoStep. That opening shot of Batman walking in slow motion in front of the jail cells looked terrible, in my opinion. Still a must see, but disappointed with the animation from that trailer.

Now rumored to be the lead to direct the Green Lanterns Corp.

It reminds me of something done in Flash from the 90s. I'm not a huge fan of it, but I'm sure I'll give it a watch...

Interesting they're aiming to get Miller for a solo film. He seems better equipped to do something more on the lines of Justice League (but Snyder is already doing that obviously). Mad Max was phenomenal, so I will see just about anything he touches at this point. I just want to see GL done right. I actually enjoyed the Ryan Reynolds movie for what it was, but there is so much potential for a better movie.

I must say, it's not a great feeling to see the director drop out of The Flash and the potential for Wan to drop Aquaman. Doesn't really make a fan feel confident in what's to come. And that's coming from a full on Batman vs. Superman fan.

DC really needs to get their own version of Kevin Feige. From what I've read on various websites they liked Grahame-Smith's script and everything he was doing with the Flash. The apparent issue is that he isn't a proven director. Also, would WB allegedly be pressuring James Wan if they were happier with Snyder's movie?

I saw the Russo's talking about working with Marvel on a Collider interview:

    Quote:
JOE RUSSO: Kevin’s very good about just attacking each movie as they come and then figuring out what the movies are after that. Because if you get ahead of yourself two things can happen. One is you take your eye off the ball and you make a mess of a movie, and then the second thing that would happen is then you don’t get to make any more movies. So he’s always in the mindset of “let’s just make this movie now and worry about the next movie when it comes”.

ANTHONY RUSSO: The most simple way I could put it is Marvel doesn’t come to the filmmakers and say, “Here’s what the next movie is.” They come to the filmmakers and say, “What is the next movie?” That’s very much the process.
I'm just worried if it's constantly WB executives vs. various directors this whole thing is going to become a mess. Though at this point I think they need to be all-in on Snyder's vision.

Love Geoff Johns, has written some of my favorite Justice League and was great on Green Lantern.

I understand why they made this move and didn't include Snyder. I like his direction style but definitely understand it isn't for everyone. He has made a few mistakes, though, so having someone in charge who has a little more control and understanding of the characters can only be good news going forward.
