I initially was miffed by the wifi only connectivity but it really is easy to network a couple speakers, two phones, and a computer and just have all you music (mine is on a external hard drive attached to a mac) at your disposal within the application. It even works on my patio, which is probably 100 feet from my router.

I'm usually not a big fan of Bose, but the Soundlink Mini is very good.

Looking to get a Bluetooth speaker. Did not backread. Debating between the UE Boom and the JBL Charge 2+ (don't really want to pay anything more than the price range on Amazon for these). Any opinions as to which is better sounding?

I ended up with the JBL Charge (orig, not the 2). I like it - works for what i need it for, but I dont blast music out of it.

I had a pairing issue with it (earlier in this thread) but that was resolved

Yeah, I'm just looking for something I can use around the apartment, or maybe while grilling out or camping (not sure if I need it to be fully waterproof). How do you like the sound on the Charge? I've read that the bass is almost too much.

It sounds perfectly fine to me, but I may not listen to the most bass heavy music on it

Cool, good to know. I don't listen to really bass-heavy music either, I was just sort of under the impression that the bass sounded overwhelming on all music.

    Alright.

I’m in love, this one is for me

    https://www.ultimateears.com/en-us/w...hyperboom.html

    Unfortunately it’s completely sold out

Need a new one and will be buying as soon as it’s back in stock.

Got this and used it to tailgate the last two weekends and its pretty damn good. Solid bass and get pretty loud without any sort of distortion.

We're looking for something for our wedding and this seems perfect. Thanks!

IMO, the extra features on the Sonos justify the extra 50 bucks.

I still have the jambox mini but it's in the basement workshop. A few years ago we got a JBL Flip 4 and that's been our main one. Don't really use it a ton, but we take it on trips to the beach and stuff. Have a really small little Lansing one in my bathroom that I sometimes have in the shower. Got it free after a holiday gift exchange.

The best part is we just refer to all bluetooth speakers in our lives as a "boner".

UE Boom. I've had the bluetooth speaker for just over 6 years or so. Never have a problem and it's been the beach and under some intense heat.

The UE hyper boom I posted has more watts, longer battery life and gets great reviews so imo it is also worth the extra $50.

It also has several other automated adaptive EQ functions and let’s you pair two phones simultaneously which seems very useful.

And a two year warranty vs 1 year for Sony.

Yeah once we saw how big this one is we looked at Sonos since we use those in the house.

Went with the Five and going to use extension cord as the Move wasn’t available until Oct (wedding in Aug).

It finally came Friday. I couldn’t be happier.

    Such a beast.

2 Bluetooth pairing at the same time is so nice. Aux, USB, charges a phone, 24 hours. Sounds great.

I’ve been streaming on my IPad Pro and using this as the speaker. So awesome.

I don’t have a ton of nice things but the things I do have make me so happy.
