That's very cool if done on purpose, which I think it was.

Not sure how I feel about that Joker rumor. In one way it really is a cool concept which I like because it's a completely new take. On the other hand I'm not sure I want a totally out of the box representation of The Joker. You do have to mix things up once in a while, and that would certainly be a cool way to do it. I'm sure the comic book world would be pissed, but you have to make things different every now and then.

That Joker not really being Joker but being a Robin that we thought died in a series of events not seen on screen would be very convoluted way for DC to introduce the most popular villain they have to its new film franchise.

Sounds like it was devised by the same person who thought the franchise was going to introduce Batman as not being Bruce Wayne but instead some hero named Deathstroke.

Which is great going forward but let's not short change Snyder either, the Batman in this movie was his creation, which was one of the best we have seen. More than excited to see what Affleck/Geoff come up with though.

I think it is more that the movie was so awful and Batman was the only thing tolerable.

Yup, loved that whole scene. One of the best looks into Bruce's psyche in any Batman film to date. Right up there with the scene after Rachel is killed in TDK where Bruce is sitting with the cowl in his lap.
